The "nine" Republicans in the "group" of Schiff asked for his resignation. Of course this was instigated by Nunes and with the "help" of Trump.

Again this shows clearly that it is impossible these days to have an "unit" in the government consisting of both party members. The "gap" between both parties has become enormous. Again the cause is the "system here. It has become unworkable for Schiff to get anything done the "honest" way if you have to work with GOP "traitors"

I watched Schiff's rebuttal in the Intelligence Committee to the Republican stunt. He reiterated every single reason why we should suspect Trump collusion with Russia. Both Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell showed the entire Schiff response. O'Donnell said it will go down in history as one of those moments that will be played again and again. The Republicans on the committee set him up for that.

    Schmidt:

I was fascinated by Adam Schiff's speech. There is little doubt in my mind that Trump should no longer be in office, but you'll never convince his cult followers of that fact.

My question is and remains: How can you run an government that way? I'm amazed at the patience of Schiff. Like they say in Dutch: Die halen het bloed van onder je nagels vandaan. (Translated: They draw the blood away from under your nails.)
