Cant afford insulin??? How is it possible to criticize free healthcare in view of not able to afford insulin???

" had diabetes for more than 10 years, you MIGHT be able to live for 7 to 10 or so days without insulin. But, the death would be awful and difficult and not peaceful. You would begin to have much urination and be extremely thirsty; but, you would also develop abdominal pain and get nauseated and vomit so you might drink but not be able to keep anything down with all the vomiting. You would start to get achy and sore and could have a terrible headache as your brain began to swell! You would have blurred vision and would begin to become delirious before you probably would go into a coma and become brain dead. The death would be awful to watch and impossible to bear by those that love you. And even if you did not progress that far to death, if there were too much delay before you could get taken to an emergency room, the damage may already have been done and it might be too late to reverse matters back to normal."

Diabetes Management's digital edition reports that the cost of insulin has increased from $100 to $200 per month to $400 to $500 per month, depending on the brand.Jul 5, 2018

Chet we wrote about that before; all of this is part of the Trump corruption; in Spain this cost one tenth compared to here.

I wrote many times about the "system" of "lobbyists", unwanted "adds" on TV as well as having an government who allows all of this and has no backbone to stop this full scale of corruption.

Don't forget part of it are the doctors and hospitals; I know all about it; an total rip off.

Chet, If you "believe" Trump then you may as well become an "new" Jesus follower. Walking on "water" is not difficult if you have an surf board.

Dutch, I posted that because that is going to be Trumps counter to healthcare. The candidates need to keep that in mind.

A major step was taken in Colorado. They decided to help diabetic citizens by putting a cap on the price of insulin. 100.00 per month. A vial of insulin can easily cost about 450.00

I am an insulin dependant Diabetic who's thrilled to finally see a step in the right direction.

How about FL where you and I live? Don't forget what Scott did and now DeSantis; Scott ripped off hospitals and the medical industry here; and pleaded the "fifth". Looking at all the "adds" on TV, then the rip offs just continue. Also Trump wants money for his idiot "wall" and likes to tackle Medicare to get his money. So don't have your hope up as long as he's there.
