An 80 year old editor in Alabama named Goodloe Sutton just called for the KKK to "night ride again". When asked to elaborate what he meant by "cleaning up D.C.," the 80-year-old Sutton suggested lynching, saying "we'll get the hemp ropes out, loop them over a tall limb and hang all of them."

For what it's worth, Alabama is not the worst state when it comes to lynching. The #1 spot is held by Mississippi. Alabama was #5 on the list:
