I think we need to brace ourselves for a report that does not implicate Trump directly with any crimes connected to russia.

There is likely to be a lot good news otherwise, but we all know Trump will be saying every day, over and over and over and over and over and over "I told you so, I told you so". Even if the reports directly says some like "Trump has repeatedly lied about....XXXX But, lying to the american public is not a crime, even if the president lies every day, about everything, its not a crime. As long as he does not commit any crimes, he is free to lie as much as he wants, about anything he wants".

Yes you are right; from now on wards the "lying" will only increase; let alone the finger pointing to the Dem's. So I expect an even worse chaotic period for the coming time, until the 2020 elections are over. But don't be surprised if these elections will become an huge mess, if Trump is not curtailed or not removed before that time. I guess the Dem's have to show some "backbone" and leadership; the least thing they can do is kick the traitors out of the party; like the W. Virginia asshole. As well curtail damages done from Nunes; nail this guy!

The Onion is reporting that since late on Friday after the Mueller Report was announced, Donald Trump as been on psychotic rampage because his smart phone has disappeared.

How come that our system is so ridiculous stupid? When I traveled the world and visited the airlines, I always had to make an report of my findings; I always made an summary and presented the report myself to the management.

Why can't they do the same here? How come Barr has to make an summary; is Mueller too lazy to do that? Why does not Mueller himself present such in an meeting with everyone (top leaders) attending? Stupidity reigns in this country.

Why make things so difficult; looks like an real British debacle.

Furthermore all the action of Mueller likely will result in no change whatsoever; all these guys who were convicted does not even make an dent in the Trump "cult"; in the meantime he's already got "cult" replacements in place. So back to square one. Nothing will change unless the Dem's get very tough; which I doubt, because actually they have no power, which is already proven by the "stonewalling" of the W.H. who won't provide any documents. Let alone "undo" Trump's border "veto". I guess the only one's who can do something is the Southern District of N.Y., but that can take "ages".

Thus with Trump, he will become even more "bolder" than before and will have even more "lack" on our antique laws.

But yeah at least he (and asshole Pompeo) made Israel happier. Shaking my old head in unbelief.

By the way; the "son in law"of Barr has become an legal adviser for Trump. Do I have to say anymore?

    Corrupt to the bone!

    Schmidt:

Excellent summary of the perils that Trump is still going to face. Your summary reminds me of a phrase that Winston Churchill uttered a long time ago:

    *****************************************************************************

"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

    Winston Churchill

NBC came up with the same theme yesterday, which largely repeats your summary:

    Dutch:

I was not aware of the news about Barr's son-in-law until you posed about it, but it is an ENORMOUS conflict of interest.

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-william-barr-attorney-general-tyler-mcgaughey-justice-department-legal-a8785036.html

As Schmidt mentioned, there are already NUMEROUS committees in Congress that are investigating Trump:

"In addition the various Congressional committees -- the House Intelligence Committee, the House Financial Services Committee, the House Oversight Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, the House Ways and Means Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Senate Intelligence Committee are all actively pursuing different aspects of possible criminal conduct by the president and his staff. They have enough on their plates to last well beyond the 2020 election."

In addition, both the House and Senate have Ethics committees. Trump's appointment of Barr's son-in-law is certain to attract their attention.

Indeed true, if Trump feels he is now off the hook, he will feel empowered that everything he has said and done up to now has been justified. In other words, lying and deception is an effective way for him to get what he wants. He very much is likely to push it to the next (worst) level.

We have to think like trump, and it is not question of what crimes he is willing he commit, its what does he consider to be a crime? From Trump's perspective, he has never in his entire life committed a crime because nothing that he has ever done has been wrong. A person can't commit a crime, if they have never done anything wrong; in Trump World he's 100% innocent, and no matter what he does, he will always be 100% innocent (in Trump World). If he is later convicted of a crime, any crime, in Trump World he would be an innocent man convicted of crimes he did not comment. When Trump looks into the mirror, he truly sees a reflection of the perfect man, he sees god on Earth. You either agree with Trump, or you are wrong.

Well, it's not surprising I suppose that Mueller found that neither President Trump nor his aides conspired with Russia -- that's according to Attorney General Barr. Mueller left open the question of presidential obstruction, but Barr concluded that the report did not present sufficient evidence of a crime.

Anyway, Trump and Republicans are doing a victory dance. Hope Nadler and Schiff get to see the real report soon and not Barr's four page summary.

I am not surprised either, and I never really believed that Trump conspired to win the election. Over the years Trump may have worked with the Russians directly, or indirectly, to run scams, launder money, etc, but winning the election wasn't something he chased after. The entire campaign was scam on the American people, and it back fired on Trump.

If Trump had his way, he would have swapped places with HC. She would have won the electoral college, and he would have won the popular vote. This very day, he would rather be going around the country holding rallies trashing President HC, claiming the electoral college is rigged because he had 3 million more votes, therefore he was the true winner. Trump's success, if you want to call it success, is created by destroying things and manipulating people. Bottom line, he is a 100%, true blue, con man.

And watch.... He won't let this go either. If people were already sick about hearing Mueller's name, Trump is going to bring it up every single day, and in every interview, between now and election day in 2020 (and beyond). "The Mueller Report" will be the #1 tweet topic for Trump over the next two years.

And this will give Trump the excuse to pardon everyone connected to him. He will claim they were unjustly convicted for concluding with the Russians, despite the fact that their conviction are completely unrelated. He will say something akin to this BS:

"These honest and loyal men would not be in prison if not for biggest illegal witch hunt the world has ever seen, which Robert Mueller himself has admitted was a total witch hunt. Robert Mueller told me all these men should be pardoned because they are 100% innocent, so I am following his legal advice. And I'm ordering the government to pay each man 100 million for being wrongly convicted by the Democrats in congress and Hillary Clinton who was the mastermind of the witch hunt from the very beginning"

Yes all of this shows that the behavior of Trump and the GOP regardless of all the lies as well "collusion" with foreign dictorial countries is all approved. I suggest to give the Trump family medals for their "patriotic" behavior to enrich themselves in their positions. Of course we should also praise Trump for all he spends on all his trips for himself costing the taxpayer by now about $555 million. Thank you Trump you care so much about us!

Thank all the "god's" that now we will get an beautiful "wall" paid for by the poor people of Mexico; they will love it.

I'm also so glad that Kussner can visit Saudia Arabia much more, as well Israel; there must be a special suite for him in the new Embassy. Also I'm thanking Pompeo for kissing the "wall"; this will help this country to become even more idiotic; Pence in turn will also kiss him.

Looking at the Mueller "thing" just one question: Why did we pay this guy at least $400 p/hr for just about 2 years? What did we (taxpayers) get for OUR money? Answer; just an pile of GOP shit.

Yes this country is doomed; unless we agree with Warren to drop the "electoral college" and let only "votes" count; if not that will mean we've become an same "dictatorship" as in Russia; no more "middle class" only the very rich and the very poor. I don't want to sound too negative, but I'm asking myself; what are the Dem's going to do? Looking at all the candidates, who can win from Trump's mafia mob?

Until Nadler and Schiff and their respective committees, the public and media see the full report, we cannot be certain that Barr has been forthright in what he has presented in his four page summary, especially as it pertains to obstructionism. One doesn't have to think too deeply to understand that Mueller's inability to find Russian collusion could have been a result of witness tampering and obstruction of justice. But then without being able to prove the underlying crime, then the thinking might have been "how can you have charges of obstruction without proof of an underlying crime?" A circular argument of sorts.

This might have been a contentious point between Mueller, Rosenstein and Barr, with Mueller ultimately yielding to his bosses. We don't know that...it's conjecture, but Nadler and Schiff would like to bring them all before their committees to be grilled under oath...unless Trump claims executive privilege (if that's possible) and stops them from testifying.

Yes Schmidt; "stonewalling" will be the case as I mentioned before; Nadler and Schiff may as well talk to Trump's "wall". Sorry from now on it will be an "slow" dance for the Dem's without any concrete results. Even the elections maybe affected and lost, if we don't get an candidate who can fight and win from the Trump mafia "cult".

All of this shows that Cohen was right; lying, cheating, corrupting things, gets you a "win" in this country.

Al Jazeera had an interesting article this morning about the Mueller investigation. The article is titled " Robert Mueller has been inducted into the "chicken** club".

    https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/robert-mueller-inducted-chickensh-club-190325064049644.html

We can all agree or disagree on the fine points, but I think that we would all agree on the article's conclusion:

Trump will be more adamant, more intransigent, more arrogant, and even more blatantly untruthful.

Democrats will push harder and harder. At the same time, they will likely focus their presidential primaries on finding who can beat Trump.

Trump and his allies will ignore subpoenas and other norms and treat Congress with contempt.

Yes Arizona you are right again. Today Netanyahu visited Trump and praised him into the Jewish non existing heaven.

Of course the proud Pence and Pompeo stood behind the "mafia boss" and were also in heaven.

In the meantime Xi of China visits Italy and France; however afterwards to FL, (Mar-a-Lago) Wow ; Lets hope The French an Italians prepare him for the "mafia boss".

If Trump scores also with China, then forget that the Dem's can score anything at all, unless they are smart enough to find out on how trump "pockets" money from the "wall" money; the "contractors" selected by him will "overcharge" for sure in order to sent his "hard earned" millions of "commission" to the Cayman's or Cyprus or Deutsche Bank.

I hope that he gets so "arrogant" that he is going to make some huge mistakes, so he can still be caught red handed.
