Mueller private comment to his wife:

"Hell, 400 pages and they still need me to tell them what to do! Who dumber? Trump for leaving 100s of finger prints all over the crime scene, or the congress who reads 400 pages of my report and can't decided what to do next!""

wwjd, What I find weird is that only you and I reacted on this Mueller "fest"; are the rest of the members "shell shocked" or partying like trump?

This soap opera just get more and more wacko. This morning when Trump was asked by the press what he thinks of Mueller, Trump response

"Mueller is vindictive because I did not appoint him to the head of FBI, so he comes after me when he was appointed as Special Council, which should never have happen in the first place because there was no collusion and no obstruction. Mueller had an ax to grind because I wouldn't let him play golf for free. Mueller thinks just because he was once the head of FBI 50 years ago, he now can get free dinners and free everything because people are afraid he will have their businesses raided by the FBI, but that is not how I run things. He is a loud mouth that never shuts up, America is sick of hearing about his investigation, but Mueller refuses to stop talking to the press"

If you break down Mueller's statement to its simplest form, he essentially just told Congress to "do your damn job".

    https://www.thenation.com/article/robert-mueller-congress-impeachment/

Significantly, while Mueller made it clear he’d rather not testify before Congress, he did not say he would refuse to do so, if asked. “Any testimony would not go beyond our report. The work speaks for itself. I would not provide any information that is not in the report.”

Yesterday morning, Mueller announced his resignation from the Justice Department. The significance of that announcement is that neither William Barr or Donald Trump can prevent him from testifying if he chooses to do so.

The worst omission of Mueller is, that he did not "follow the money trail" especially the Russian one. He interviewed Kussner and should have asked about the Russian "money" trail. I guess he forgot this on purpose, because he let Kussner totally of the hook. Sorry, Mueller did an lousy job.

Trump is trying to lure democrats into a type of fight that can only be won by breaking the law, which he is willing to do because he is president and can't be charged, but everybody else can. Once democrats are caught breaking some laws, Trump and republicans will be all over it. One way to think of it, Trump would torture people to win, and he knows Democrats won't go that far too win.

wwwjd, yes you are right. People here seem to forget that Trump is an original "mob boss" milking tenants of the buildings his Dad owned. The "mob" uses totally different ways to obtain what they want, people forget that or are naive.

They interviewed a woman in an rally, who did not even knew what Trump is doing or having an y notion of his past etc. Which means half of the population here has no clue what trump is all about and likely only follow FOX news.

    Sickening for sure.

The Democrats in the House just scored a major victory.

This morning, Bill Barr approved unfettered access to Volume II of the unredacted Mueller Report and its underlying evidence, all of which proves that President Trump obstructed the Special Counsel’s probe into Russian election interference. Since obstruction of justice is an obvious impeachable offense, Trump must be getting very nervous.

IMO, the only thing that really makes him very nervous is losing his business. He could be caught lying and cheating on video\audio on practically everything else and he would just deny it as fake news, but if he is at risk of loosing his business, then he will use all the powers of the presidency to prevent it from happening. It is what traditional Republicans fear, the democrats will uncover something that leads towards shutting down Trump inc, triggering Trump to unleash all the powers of the presidency on various innocent non-political targets to force Democrats to back off.

For example, he would shut down government again if he business was threaten, forcing the democrats to back off. Or he might order waterboarding be re-instated and applied to immigrants crossing the boarder. Pain and suffering of others does not bother him, so he knows he has leverage when he threatens innocent people. Trump truly could watch torruture endlessly and not be bother by it. He could become bored and fall asleep before he ever was bother by it. He is a sociopath, in the first degree.

Officially, there was "no collusion" with the Russians by the Trump team, but an article in this morning's Washington Post would seem to suggest otherwise.

Although Paul Manafort was only Trump's campaign manager for a short time, he had been approached by a Maltese professor with Russian ties, who told him that he had "dirt" on Hillary Clinton.

Conversations between Joseph Mifsud and Manafort are actually what triggered the initial investigation by our intelligence agencies. Conveniently, the professor has now "disappeared".

Do not forget that the "background" of Trump and his family is in fact an "mob" upbringing. He will use all the tools the "mob" also uses. He loves "dictators" who kill their opponents; so eventually he will resort to that as well, once he's allowed (as is done now) to become the "real" dictator here with the help of his cronies.

I bet you never see "him" in court.

wwjd -- I agree. What Trump fears most is the disclosure of his financial dealings over several years. It could result in loans being recalled, bankruptcy and indictments once he leaves office. However, if he can somehow get re-elected than the statue of limitations on many of his crimes will have run out.

Mueller is scheduled to testify in front of Congress two weeks from tomorrow.

While Democrats are prepared to use this opportunity to hear directly from Mueller, Republicans are anxious to show how the Special Counsel was used as the Democrats' political pawn.

Louie Gohmert, who is officially the dumbest man in Congress, has called Mueller "an anal opening". Unfortunately, Gohmert sits on the House Judiciary Committee, and is one of 25 Republicans who are scheduled to question Mueller.

Some of the other hardcore Republicans feel that the testimony will backfire on the Democrats because they STILL think it's a "witch hunt".

My opinion is Mueller's testimony won't change anything.

I've read the Mueller report, and it is clear that Trump should be impeached. As long as the Republicans control the Senate, though, he won't be.

No matter how much evidence you give them, the Republicans are never going to believe that Trump did anything wrong. The only outcome that I can guarantee is that Gohmert, or Andy Biggs, or Jim Jordan, or Matt Gaetz or Devin Nunes will manage to make an ass out of themselves at some point during the hearing. All of them, of course, are "anal openings".

I guess you get the picture. I've said a million times that our "system" is antiquated and no longer works if you elect "mob" types like the people you describe.

Still the Dem's do nothing to get the tax returns nor Deutsche Bank records; I guess they've given up on it or "the blockage" of the GOP works.

The stupid people here don't realize that if they stick to Trump, then there will be an end to Democracy in this country; it will be ruled as in Moscow.

In roughly 24 hours Robert Mueller is scheduled to testify in front of Congress. Most reports I have read say he will hand in a copy of his full report and then give one word answers to any questions. Not sure why he's so intimidated.

Any thoughts or comments on tomorrow ?
