I watched part of Matt Whitaker's testimony today to the House Judicial Committee. Not only did he refuse to answer key questions citing "ongoing investigations" or "executive privilege" his manners bordered on being in contempt. At one point early in the proceeding he told Chairman Nadler "his five minutes are up" when Nadler asked a question. The guy came across as abrasive and condescending, and as some pundits noted, it appeared he was auditioning for a job with an audience of ONE...Donald Trump.

I caught about half of it, and his performance was strictly to entertain and impress Trump. Telling the chairman Nadler that his five minutes are up was to impress Trump. Symbiotically, he was taking out his dick, and pissing in the face of Nadler; it was intended to be that disrespectful and insulting, and it was the primary reason he showed up. The entire time he was giving the committy the middle finger, and he enjoyed doing it. Trump was pulling the strings on this one, and I am guessing it was better than sex for DT.

Very disturbing, thumbing his nose at people who write and pass laws. He's another who believes he's above the law, like trump and his minions.

He went far beyond thumbing his nose, this was a very obvious FU. It was as if he was sitting there giving them the middle finger the entire time. His objective was to piss them off as much as possible hoping they would say something that would make them look bad in a sound bite on Fox News, while he just repeated the same half dozen authorized phrases approve by the WH. It was like he had no more than half dozen responses, and he just pick the best one that fit the question.

Maggie Haberman of the New York Times reported that Whitaker went to Trump's D.C. hotel immediately after the hearing.

As one person commented on Twitter, "It's like a dumbed-down version of the Gambino family".

I'm amazed that this committee accepted all of this. It again showed that the Dem's are way too nice; they should have immediately shown forcefully (fist on the table) to stop this charade. If anyone would act in any "court" like this, it would be "handcuffs and be led away to an cell.
