About a month ago, Newsweek reported that Saudi Arabia had announced that it will punish online satire with jail sentences up to 5 years, and fines up to $800,000. In addition, the Saudis just repurposed a 2016 app that will make it easier for Saudis to report on each other, which sounds a lot like Russia under Stalin.

Although Jamal Khasoggi's murder managed to put a bright spotlight on Saudi repression, he is far from the only journalist who was punished by MBS and his cronies.

Guy, I knew that, however it is much worse to have Trump cherish all the dictators and regimes around the world and drop our long alliances with our supporting countries who support us. This story will not end in a better position for the US in the world. At present all our (former) allies are rethinking their positions.

The proven oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are the 2nd largest in the world, estimated to be 268 billion barrels, including 2.5 Gbbl in the Saudi–Kuwaiti neutral zone. They are predominantly found in the Eastern Province. These reserves were the largest in the world until Venezuela announced they had increased their proven reserves to 297 Gbbl in January 2011.

The USA and other countries have been willing to overlook their human rights abuses.

The Saudis must have a hit squad in America since two young Saudi women were found murdered because they wanted to become citizens of America.

I find it very odd that this site never mentions the 4 year old war crime going on in Yemen that both the U.S. Government and the Saudis have been guilty of creating.

I also find it incredible that not one politician in America has mentioned the 7 active wars that U.S. Oligarchy has been involved in for decades and the fact that this warmongering Oligarchy has military bases in 1 out of every 3 countries on the planet and the military industrial complex has spent 10 trillion tax dollars since 2000 on these horrific war crimes that has demolished many countries and slaughtered and maimed millions of innocent human beings and it is very strange that the International War Crimes court has not charged that U.S. Oligarchy for all these war crimes they have committed.

The reason all these horrific war crimes have gone without resistance from other countries is many of those other countries are in the weapons dealing business and it is very profitable.

Another reason for these blood thirsty wars is the fact that the dollar is the world's currency and any nation that dares to try and go to another currency will be demolished as happened in Iraq and Libya.

Ironically the industrialized nations of the world have come to realize how dangerous and destructive to other nations this world currency has become and these nations are now setting up a special currency to have financial dealings with Iran and there is every indication these nations may just dump that bloody dollar and select another world currency.
