Last Wednesday, a message popped up on my phone that read "Presidential Alert'. I sure as hell do not want to receive any messages from Donald Trump, but it turns out that the idea actually originated from FEMA. It's officially known as the National Wireless Emergency Alert System, or WEA for short - and you can't opt out of it.

Not to worry, though, under the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System Modernization Act of 2015, Trump can't use the WEA for anything other than its intended purposes. The law states that it can't be "used to transmit a message that does not relate to a natural disaster, act of terrorism, or other man-made disaster or threat to public safety."

Translated: Anything Trump wants to say.

Without a doubt in my mind if there is a way to abuse the system, trump will make an effort to do so.

    Something like this:

"I am declaring Boarder along Mexico to be a National Emergency because Democrats won't fund the wall."

maybe it sounds far fetch, but if he uses it, he will also attempt to abuse it for his advantage. The thing to always remember about Trump is that nothing is off limits, and he is always looking for ways to use\abuse exiting systems, policies, and laws that are in place gain an advantage\power over others. He's not looking at this as being an Emergency system, he looks at it as a tool for him to use for himself and against others. That is how he looks at everything and everyone: "How can I use this person, this tool, this law, this rule, etc to make me more powerful, richer or to make others weaker and poorer."
