Women have been struggling throughout human history to gain fair treatment and rid themselves of oppressive, cruel, tyrannical and unfair laws that have made them nothing more than slaves and servants.

The last 2 centuries in some countries women have been gaining fairer treatment and laws but the last two decades in America the Republicans have been destroying those laws and creating new laws that interfere in their personal lives.

Today the R in Republican stands for Rapid Women Haters!

Connie, all of this has to do with "religion" in this country; it is the "fanatic white religious right" which demands that women should be just be subdued to "slaves" and produce as much children as possible so they later on can supply the churches with "money". Amen

And even though the Lilly Ledbetter act was signed into law, women still suffer the consequences of wage discrimination by corporations because the law has loopholes. It allows voluntary compliance by employers, which is a crock of shit. Compliance should be mandatory IMO.

After watching testimony of the SCOTUS confirmation hearings, I almost believe the GOP really does hate women, Graham & Grassley are a couple of the worst. Maybe they'll piss of enough women to get them out to vote and throw them out of their cushy positions as so called lawmakers.

I have never met a single woman hater in my life.

Sure some men might hate their x-wives or a woman boss or think all women are inferior.

There are powerful men that love to use and abuse woman, treating them as second class people. But that's different than hating them.

Can someone provide some examples of public figures that are women hates?

How about Trump; he just uses them for his own glory and then dumps them; he does not give a shit, even about his son Barron and uses Melania only as an "trophy" to show her of. Neither does he care for little kids ripped from their mothers arms. He only wants to "screw" these women, for his fun; nothing else. He loves "power" and "money" much more.

Lindsey Graham. Publicly relegating the kidnapping, torture, groping and humiliation of Dr. Ford to a non issue.

    Rush Limbaugh

You don't know that. You have probably met a lot of people that you don't know the true disposition of their personalities .

    Copied and pasted:

"widespread level of comfort with female leadership among the general population, many still feel there are significant obstacles impeding women’s path to the top. And within the Church—among evangelicals, especially—support for women in leadership and acknowledgement of the challenges women may face lags significantly.

Hurdles Still Exist for Women in the Workplace"

I can see how individual men can hate individual women, and also they discriminate against women as whole because deep down they feel threatened by women. I just don't see a wide spread demographic of men that hate women. Such a group of men would never chose to socialize with women, and never would have anything good to say about them. Such men would feel detain for all women they encounter throughout there day, and at best they suppress their hatred so not to loose their job.

And such a group of men would be identified by women as a separate group that goes beyond men who view women as inferior. These men would have some kind organization that supported their hatred toward women, much like racists have the KKK and Nazism.

wwjd, I am exploring that thought and something that happened to me last week opens my mind to the possibilities of anything. I had jokingly heard about and entertained the idea that some people think and believe the earth is flat. I don't remember what brought the subject up but I was assured that certain evangelicals are taught that and fully subscribe to and believe it. I asked my friend to text the flat earth person how could it be daylight here and dark in Hawaii. The response was something irrational and nonsensical that it had to do with the sun in the constellation. I asked them to text how the visual of a large ship sinks into the hirizon. The answer was perception. I had enough to have to accept that they believe the earth was flat. My brother in law is a retired Navy Chaplain. Called him and he assured be there is a large unquestioning segment of evangelicals that believe the earth is flat. They are also a voting group that form a significant Republican segment. This same group has a perception of women being less than a man yet they profess being equal. This is certainly consistent with the picture described by Dr. Ford. So are their women haters? I believe there are people that believe there is no reason for a woman to cause a man problems. The flat earth believer revelation still has me amazed. I have always had the idea that ultra right wingers could identify and discriminate and I believe they have no compassion for outsiders. There are hate groups. So compiling this information I have no doubt there are women haters.

Haters is not a good word choice. It's very clear though that far too many want to find any possible way to repress and harass others to ease their way. It's pitiful and sad. It became more evident last week that the majority doesn't have adequate empathy or compassion for others situations. We should all remember who is guilty of mistreatment, even when it seems more insignificant. Part of the total picture. Vote. Remove all guilty parties.
