I wish I could disagree with you, but Bernie or busters are such selfish assholes that they would rather continue burning everything down to the ground than compromise on any of their crazy ass demands.

They are holding our party hostage and don't care. They will never accept that their selfish actions handed us a President who's a legit sociopath and a far right-wing Supreme Court for the next generation or more.

In their eyes they are the saviors and us majority of Democrats who scoff at demagogues like Bernie are the ones who need help.

Hillary will be the 2020 candidate for president . All you poor people haters need to fall in line and thank Perez for opening up the 2020 run for Hillary. She has the machine in place and she wants to make up for being denied her first attempt at health care. Perez unleashed Hillary from the lead weight of Bill's and Barack's legacies. He unveiled the truth. #1s on voter minds are wages and health care. Hillary will push wages and health care and win. I know there is an element that can't stand the thought of universal health care and good life style wages for high school drop outs and unskilled untalented workers but you'll just have to add that to your list of hates and like it. The door is opening for peace through posterity. Let the real people first democrats ring in the riddance of profit only motivation and health care for everybody no matter what the cost. Perez will go down in history for his wages and health care emancipation. Watch the potential candidates try and out promise each other. Booker will probably be #2 after Hillary.

Secretary Clinton has been in exile since the will of the American people was ignored in 2016 thanks to Bernie or busters in three states. Do you honestly think she's just going to pop up out of nowhere and say "damn it, the third time's a charm"?

Seriously man. Get a grip. I know you hate Hillary, but damn...you're going off the deep end.

Not only will she probably run I'll bet she was instrumental in Perez's speech citing wages and health care being #1 on voters' minds.

Who knew that crazy conspiracy theorists weren't exclusively on the right side of the aisle?

Thanks, Bernie or busters. I hope you wake up one day and recognize what you've unleashed, but I have an eerie feeling you never will.

I had suggested in another or other threads of "democrats don't have a message or a slogan" that the 2020 platform for a presidential candidate might or should be to restore healthcare and raise minimum wage but that wasn't good enough, someone wrote I should rephrase the message. Evidently, some didn't think that those were good messages, all of a sudden, people are praising Perez for the same.

I also think that if another like "Bernie" comes a knockin' on the democrat tent to run as a democrat but has a different party affiliation, democrats should close the tent fly asap to keep them out. In other words, the D party should refuse to support them. What happens when you allow people like that into the tent, they split votes needed for a "real" candidate.

MSM reports that democrat voters are fired up for the midterm elections, I hope that is true. Otherwise, we'll continue to skirt the curb until we end up with more gutter politics like the right wing has displayed in the past. I also think democrats need to get into the gutter with them and get just as nasty as they are. But that might have unintended consequences too.

Does anyone remember Ross Perot? He took votes away from the democrat candidate AND the republican candidate.

"Perot was the natural beneficiary of populist resentment toward establishment politicians." " In June, Perot led a Gallup poll with 39% of the vote"

Just like Sanders and Trump, he siphoned votes away from the "real candidates".

Joe Lieberman was another democrat traitor: "Lieberman was officially listed in Senate records for the 110th and 111th Congresses as an "Independent Democrat",[4] and sat as part of the Senate Democratic Caucus. However, after his speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention in which he endorsed John McCain for President, he no longer attended Democratic Caucus leadership strategy meetings or policy lunches."
