Normally there is not that much news in Europe about the US; however that has changed since Trump's visit. They are viewing the US totally different now; it started already with the N.Korea disaster, the "border kids", then the NATO summit, British visit, last but not least the Putin meeting. The headlines are even more drastic than over here; they call him a "traitor". Yes, Europe will distance itself from the US from now on. I bet that especially Germany will seek other "ties" elsewhere, especially with "trade"

The "bully" is still kind of mad about all the "hoopla" about his fantastic European trip as well Helsinki. So now it is time to get an tantrum by the "spoiled" baby. He has now scolded Iran via an"tweet" like he did with N.Korea before. I don't see any reason for it, other than that "he" stepped out of the "nuke deal" while the Europeans did not. I think the "son in law" may pushed him by being buddy's with Nethanyahoe. Thus Trump alone, as usual, can fix it. Wow, is there not enough shit in the Middle East and with N.Korea which he screwed up etc. Yes Trump is the most ignorant naive president in the history of this "island".

Bolton as well Pompeo added fuel to the fire about Iran. Yes this country is doomed if the "leaders" continue on this path. If Mueller pretends to be the doctor; then he should be quick to assist, in preventing the patient from dying.

"Europe" is a conglomeration of over forty countries that have vastly different politics.

I regret to say I have yet to travel to Europe since Donald's inauguration (heading there next spring though!), but I have to disagree that "[n]ormally there is not that much news in Europe about the US." I traveled throughout a number of European countries in 2016 and the people I interacted with knew more about the comings and goings of US politics than the vast majority of US citizens. How would all these strangers I chatted with know what's going on if "there is not that much news in Europe about the US"?

Social media. Rumor is over a dozen in Europe have Twitter and Facebook. Dozen is obviously sarcastic but you know what I am saying. The news is certainly out there.

Jared, The news over there is as it is here; more "local" news than "international" . On this "island" it is everyday a repeat of "Trump" or the "shit" he creates. In Europe the "news" is "news" and not repeated over and over again all day with "pill" adds. However the "news" here works like an indoctrination platform; while that is not the case over there.

Of course since most of the "shit news" comes from here because of the Trump's craziness here, it makes interesting reading if there is not much "local" news. In general the air waves over there are less intrusive like here. But yeah since the "cellphones" you have more choices of what news you want to see. During the Obama time there was of course much less news which came from over the "pond". Thus as a matter of fact, Trump drives the whole world crazy.

I like to add that here on this island there is very little news from overseas; except some on the BBC channel or PBS. Especially lately I see way too much of Trump's ugly face.

Remember how the French were lambasted a while back? Dumb Americans were boycotting French fries, and called them American fries! I think Europeans know how dumb Americans are, especially after we sent a reality TV show host to the white house.

Yes, everyone else in the world is disgusted by Trumpy and his supporters. Unfortunately that doesn’t help us one bit. As long as Dems are Rethugs lite and the Ruskies own many in Congress, not to mention the lire-in-chief, we don’t have a chance.

When the electronic voting machines are owned, designed and programmed by Rethugs your vote doesn’t count. Dutch is correct - make sure you get out while you can!

Yes P.R. I'm working at it; but the US medical industry is kind of delaying my exit. My wife got an infectious decease which is very hard to cure; has had already 4 antibiotic cures, which did not work. It made things only worse. All of this is caused by just pushing things which makes "money" for them, but an good "analyses" and remedy without antibiotics is far from their minds.( In Europe "antibiotics" are hardly used; except as last resort) Especially in FL this "industry " is more or less "robotic" in the sense, just follow the "book" but don't think; human life's don't count; just standard procedures, shoving 'pills" and "money" and never think about the consequences of using all these pills.

The above is one more reason to leave this country; people here are more trained like indoctrinated robots than human beings.
