If Mueller is given Intel\evidence from the CIA and\or other Government agencies that trump violated US Law when he met with Putin, Mueller could subpoena the American translator.

I don't think Mueller wants to get involved into this can of worms; he's just building up his "Russian interference case". Looking at what happened in Helsinki, then as a "sideline", it may be an advantage to him; the more Trump created "shit" the better. But as long as the GOP sticks with the idiot, then Mueller has to get an absolute solid case, as long as it takes to complete the "puzzle". But yeah, slowly but surely the dumb "mental patient" is digging his own grave and that of the GOP.

    Trump: executive privilege.

That is what Nixon claimed about the tapes.

Executive privilege means a president can flagrantly disobey laws of the USA with impunity. Nixon is a prime example.

What would happen next if trump refused a SC order?

It is very high probability that if the SC ruled against trump, and required him to do something (ie hand over documents), trump likely would refuse stating the SC got it wrong, therefore he does not have to follow SC decisions he does not like.

There was an "meeting" with Pompeo yesterday; proper questions were asked. However this "fat slob" answered that it is "totally " normal for a President to have "private" meetings with any "dictator". However I think Mueller thinks differently about this. What about if this President discusses his own "money" issues (the money laundering and shady deals) as sole purpose for such meetings. Is Pompeo then an accomplish in crime?

Q: Why didn't trump record the two hour meeting?

A: He did not want to be held accountable for what Putin my say to him or ask him. Nor what trump might privately promise to do to get what he personally wants.

Putin is free to saying anything he wants at anytime, but there is a huge difference when trump and him are alone together and Putin cuts through the BS and says "Here is what I want, and I expect you to deliver" putting trump in a position where he must show his cards.

Trump is in a bind. Without a recording Putin can say anything .

I'd bet pretty much everything I have that Putin made a recording. Have a recording gives him leverage because that means the Russians have the recording, but nobody else does. Therefore nobody should be surprised when its leaked at some later date when to their advantage (it maybe months or even years). And of course, it will be leaked through a 3rd party source, so the Russians can't be directly blamed for the recording.
