Everyone is talking about the "press interview' but forgetting what was said/agreed in the two hour plus meeting. Several people on the site and in the government warned not to have this meeting, certainly not without witnesses.

But yeah, always afterwards people start to think here; now certain people want to interview (under oath?) the translator(s). I doubt if they really will do that. Only in the future we will find out what was "promised" etc. I bet "money" was discussed; there must be something which Putin has to have "control" over Trump.

Thus it is not only Trump is at fault, but the whole government is,by allowing this "2 hours" to take place. How stupid can you get. The Russians have the details and are already asking for "the agreement" of which no one here knows about.

Is this country really that stupid? Answer: YES

As long as this president has nobody to answer to, he can pretty much do as he wishes with no checks and balances. Teflon Don.

Dock, thus you find this "normal"; this certainly does not happen in other civilized countries, with "brains".

Actually, I find this abnormal, and our congress isn't doing shit about it. I will vote this year, and in 2020 if I'm still around, and hopefully pick someone who is more honest than what we presently have.

Putin mentioned,Bill Browser. Without being asked . Because William Browder is the guy who is responsible for the Maginski act. The law that allows the US to sieze assets belonging to Russian oligachs. And it works and many other countries are passing the Maginski act also freezing assets belonging to criminals.

That's why Putin has been trying to kill him for ten years. The fat discussing sniveling moron actually nodded and smiled when the criminal asked for access to Bill Browser ! Right on teevee .

    Think about that .

There is talk about a subpoena for Trump's translator at the private Trump Putin meeting. But just as quickly executive privilege was mentioned to stop it. Since Putin speaks English I'll bet they had the translators out of hearing distance.

Strange answer: Thus you don't believe, what I wrote; that your government and the people in it are an naive bunch of lunatics? I'm not miserable; I can compare things here to other countries, since I lived and worked in other places than on this "island". I don't care if this country goes to hell; there are lots of other places to live with better laws and decency; I'm busy getting out of here until the house sells. Now happy?

He also promised to sent McFaul ( ex-ambassador to Russia) to Russia to be questioned by the Russians; I've never in my life seen such blatant treason from Trump.

Just seems like the US is not a good fit for you, and you'll be happier once you sell your house and move to another country.

Just because the two MF's met in private, doesn't mean the Russians did not secretly recorded it.

trump better have been on his very best behavior during that 2 hour meeting. There is 99.9999% chance that there was a audio & video recording made during that meeting by the Russians. If trump said anything damaging or made promises, the Russians can prove it. Knowing what a big mouth trump is, IMO, it would be mind a boggling missed opportunity by the Russians not to get compromising evidence from the POTUS.

    {hypothetical trump comment to Putin}

Trump: "And before I forget, I just found out that fucking Israel is planning and massive attack on....."

AND.... if there is a recording made, someday it will be made public by the Russian whenever it to their advantage to have it released, unless of course, they get something in exchange to keep the recording secret.

Question: Is the US in its present state a good fit for you? If I see your writing, I don't think so. I dealt with the government in the past in D.C. and negotiated aircraft deals with them; at least at that time there was still some common sense, but that is now all gone.

I will say that anyone who thinks it's okay for our president to hold a private meeting with a foreign country that is NOT our friend or ally, alone, without providing public awareness as to what is or was being discussed, must have their heads buried in the sand. This is not normal behavior for a US president. It is highly unusual to say the least.

I do recall the Nixon tapes, and nearly all Americans were pissed off that he and his cronies erased 18 minutes of them. That was unacceptable during that time. This Trump/Putin meeting should be made public, and not kept as a Trump & Co. trade secret.

When I served in the US armed forces, one of the first classes taught to young recruits was that there were 4 major things to watch out for from foreign nations/nationals who were not our allies or friends, those were Propaganda, Espionage, Subversion, and Attack. Since 2014, America, our US Government has likely had all 4 of these occurrences. We all have seen this reported by MSM. Trump keeps calling news outlets the enemy, except one, FOX. Doesn't anyone in this country recognize that Trump himself might have committed treason? Or, are people too stupid to read the writing on the wall?

The Dem's tried to get a vote to enforce the "translator" to hand over her notes/information about what happened in that meeting. Of course the GOP rebuked/voted down this motion, which means they stubbornly stick to the "brainless idiot" It is clear that they love to go down with this sinking ship.

If Mueller is given Intel\evidence from the CIA and\or other Government agencies that trump violated US Law when he met with Putin, Mueller could subpoena the American translator.
