Dock you are absolutely right; bypassing the "cats" indeed has effect on performance because the main engine module is programmed and tuned with the "cats" and "fuel" system. But yeah Trump never went to school; let alone knows how things work.

What's worrisome and concerning is that all of the scientists worldwide agree we are in climate change, and Trump has appointed people to try to overturn regulations meant to help clean up our lands, air and water. The regulations weren't put in place because people were joking or kidding about how bad it can and will get if we don't start taking care of earthly stuff.

Trump and his appointees need to be replaced with people who take things more seriously. I do hope the dumbed down Americans come to their senses and get out to vote for people who really care.

We recently had a bad chemical spill in a canal in Indiana at the Lake Michigan shore, the company supposedly waited days before they notified anyone, and the Indiana EPA supposedly dragged their feet in showing concern about it, in the meantime, people who live in the area reported seeing dead fish, and then the parks department issued a warning not to go near the water, even the water treatment plant was shuttered because of the spill. They must have a bunch of idiots running things down there.

An Indiana mayor accused state environmental officials Friday of waiting several days before notifying his city about a steel mill's spill of cyanide and another chemical that led to a fish kill and prompted the closure of beaches along Lake Michigan.

Portage Mayor John Cannon said the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and others learned Monday about an ArcelorMittal mill's cyanide and ammonia-nitrogen spill, but didn't inform his city until Thursday, The (Northwest Indiana) Times reported.

This isn't an example of how our environment should be taken care of.

In the Trump administration, three senior political officials working on the rollback, a complex legal and scientific process, have all left the administration recently.

That means the process is now being helmed by Francis Brooke, a 29-year-old White House aide with limited experience in climate change policy.

It may have been a while since you've read any of Shakespeare's plays, but Trump's administration is a prime example of tragedy and comedy.

To quote a line from Hamlet, the king has gone mad.

“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars/ But in ourselves.” -- William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

“Who knows himself a braggart, let him fear this, for it will come to pass that every braggart shall be found an ass.”--William Shakespeare, The Complete Works

    Trump is our "elected" leader...

The subject was the environment. Right now the Amazon rain forest is ablaze. This sure will help the climate and deplete oxygen supply for living things. But yeah, again elect in Brazil also an idiot like Trump, then we all end up with lung decease etc. The announcement, that in 11 years this planet will be no longer livable, probably does not impress anyone, neither Trump who wants the emissions on cars increased instead of making it cleaner. That works for sure.

The most important thing for our leader is to fill his pockets; one lucky thing is he can't take it with him in his grave.

The EPA just announced plans to roll back regulations on the emissions of methane, which even many gas and oil producers are opposed to.

Every day, Trump's administration simply gets dumber.

The idiot wants now that they get "logging" permits for an National Forest on the south/ocean side of Alaska. This place is still pure nature and there are no roads into it. Of course the "idiot" wants to ruin everything what is beautiful on this planet, in order to enable him to fill his pockets via kickbacks from the logging companies.

I hope the "courts" will stop this.

This makes my head "explode". I just wonder how much of it is driven by corporate greed and how much by Trump's "Obama envy obsession". He seems intent on undoing everything Obama achieved or was for. If Obama was for it he is against it.

That is not all of it; He now allows companies to release more "methane gas" which Obama had curtailed. Also kids who are sick and can't get treatment elsewhere are now going to be deported, even when it is an certain "death" for them. Etc. Etc.

Don't you "love" this guy? Are the Dem's "sleeping"?

The New York Times this morning highlighted how Trump is trying to destroy the environment:

The response I posted yesterday was the WHERE.

The link below is the HOW:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/29/climate/climate-rule-trump-reversing.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share

Counting the roll back of the methane rules, the Trump administration has worked to repeal 84 environmental rules.

Even after Trump gets the boot, it will take a while to undo the damage that he has done to the environment.

Oddly enough, one of the people who will cause the most change is a 16 year old girl from Sweden. (How many 16 year old students do you know who have addressed the United Nations?)

4 major automakers bravely said, "F**k you" to Trump's plans to roll back Obama's fuel efficiency standards. It didn't take long for Mueller report obfuscator Bill Barr to respond.

President Trump’s Justice Department — for it is increasingly clear that the department has been reduced to an arm of the White House — has opened an antitrust investigation of four auto companies that had the temerity to defy the president by voluntarily agreeing to reduce auto emissions below the level required by current federal law.

Kurt Schlichter is one of the crazier contributing writers to Townhall.com.

There are numerous non government agencies in Brazil that have been developed to teaches farmers in exchange for a promise to plant native Amazon species.

Those efforts are now being stymied by Brazil's current president, Jair Bolsonaro, who thinks other countries should butt out.
