What's worrisome and concerning is that all of the scientists worldwide agree we are in climate change, and Trump has appointed people to try to overturn regulations meant to help clean up our lands, air and water. The regulations weren't put in place because people were joking or kidding about how bad it can and will get if we don't start taking care of earthly stuff.
Trump and his appointees need to be replaced with people who take things more seriously. I do hope the dumbed down Americans come to their senses and get out to vote for people who really care.
We recently had a bad chemical spill in a canal in Indiana at the Lake Michigan shore, the company supposedly waited days before they notified anyone, and the Indiana EPA supposedly dragged their feet in showing concern about it, in the meantime, people who live in the area reported seeing dead fish, and then the parks department issued a warning not to go near the water, even the water treatment plant was shuttered because of the spill. They must have a bunch of idiots running things down there.
An Indiana mayor accused state environmental officials Friday of waiting several days before notifying his city about a steel mill's spill of cyanide and another chemical that led to a fish kill and prompted the closure of beaches along Lake Michigan.
Portage Mayor John Cannon said the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and others learned Monday about an ArcelorMittal mill's cyanide and ammonia-nitrogen spill, but didn't inform his city until Thursday, The (Northwest Indiana) Times reported.
This isn't an example of how our environment should be taken care of.
