I just watched it and have mixed feeling about the questions asked, the attitude of whole thing.
That it was all distasteful was clear enough, the reporters were worried, too worried about that, but hypocritical too, in a odd way. I felt like it was totally PC, to the point of having a negative, the opposite, effect than intended. She is smart and expressed her point that as everything that she tried to avoid has happened anyway, so, now I'm all , like, you know, WTH ?, came across.
I think she could have handled it, would have handled it, if the interviewer had dared to just her about the double standards at play. However, he stayed in his comfort zone, treating her too much like just the talking heads, the bureaucrats, the government wonks that they used for background.
