This week Andrew McCabe was fired. He was set to retire on Sunday with full benefits. Trump wanted to send a message everyone that dare to be part of Trump World.

"Fuck with me, and I'll make sure you're fucked for life. When I say bend over, you better do it. And if I say suck my dick, you better make sure I enjoy it"

Some analysts are seeing this as the first move to clear house and to fire Robert Mueller. He may have one big firing of several staff at once including Rod Rosenstein. While this may seem like political suicide for Trump, the alternative is perhaps even worse -- to let Mueller complete his investigation, which could have severe implications for the Trump organization beyond his impeachment and removal from office. The fact that Mueller has subpoenaed documents from the Trump organization is really worrisome to Trump. He is between a rock and a hard place.

The part that has puzzled me for a long time is how calm\reserved trump has been during the investigation. trump behaves as if he has nothing to hide, yet with each day, we learn more and more that suggests he guilty of something very huge.

    1) If trump has not done anything wrong, then his calm demeanor on the investigation makes some sense; he is clean, done nothing wrong, and Mueller will clear him 100%. Nothing to be paranoid about. If 100% innocent, it would be understandable for trump to be frustrated that its taking Mueller so long to clear him.

    or

    2) He can be calm because he perceives he has a fail-safe plan that solves the problem. I've ponder that trump's fail-safe plan maybe to pardon everyone, declare victory having accomplish all his goals, and resign. We, as a country, move on. However, that is speculation, and there are other ways trump may decide to handle it. As pointed out, trump may attempt to have everyone fired and the investigation closed, and all related document sealed for 100 years (or destroyed).

Lastly, and probably most important, the clock is ticking from two perspectives. trump does not know when Mueller will bring further indictments, and the mid terms. If democrats take control during the mid-terms, they will come after trump so hard and so fast, he won't be be able to handle the bombardment. trump will not be able to fire anybody, let alone Mueller.

IMHO, trump only hope to survive Mueller is shut down the investigation before the mid-terms, ideally before the end of August, and have the investigation closed without ever releasing any further conclusions\indictments. Basically execute a plan that leaves the investigation in limbo indefinitely.

Adding a separate thought. I beleive Mueller is ethical man, and not politically motivated to take down trump. It is my perception that if the investiation had no links to trump, and nothing pointing at trump, Meuller would put out a statement clearing the president so that we, as country, could move past left\right speculation about his guilt. Mueller likely would say something akin to this: "The investigation continues, but we have found no evidence of wrong doing by President Trump"... Trump cleared. IMHO, the reason such a statement has not been made is because of Mueller will be charging people in the trump campaign which might include trump.

One thing that is certain, the outcome will be bigger than Watergate. However, it could become a successful cover-up by trump, thus and epic fail of the justice system. Or, a take down of president based on criminal activity that make the Watergate break-in look like a petty crime, proving our system of justice is strong enough to withstand a hostile take over from president of US.

I am betting that Trump World collapses and he will no longer be president by Feb 2019.

wwjd - I agree on your February 2019 date. Trump will be gone by then. While he appears to be calm with business as usual, Trump is a master con artist, and knows how to present himself in public. However, as the Washington Post and New York Times have reported, there is chaos in the White House. His tweets and actions show a method to his madness, which point towards an imminent attempt to fire Robert Mueller. Here's what he tweeted just this morning:

Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI - A great day for Democracy. Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI! - Donald Trump

Before he fires Rosenstein and Mueller, he has to first undermine the FBI investigation further so his base will be 100 percent behind him. He is doing that now with that tweet plus other statements in the past year. The longer he lets the Mueller investigation go on, the more vulnerable he is to being exposed for whatever deeds he is trying to cover up -- money laundering or sexual content or being "Putin's lapdog" (treason). His actions during his presidency certainly suggest Putin has something on him.

This may come to a head sooner than we think, and he'll rely on Paul Ryan, Devin Nunes and House Republicans to protect him from House impeachment. The thought occurred to me that maybe Trump has something on them as well.

However, impeachment may not be the worst of the possible outcomes for him, the master con artist.

Again the way McCabe was fired is typical Trump; he does not give a shit about people. It is only "him" which counts. Why give a guy who worked more than 20 years at the job a "pension"?; steal it from him 24 hours before he intended to retire. Trump and Sessions are is the biggest pieces of filth there are; we are an great example for the world with these guys.

Furthermore he wants now 20 million from Stormy, if she dares to tell her story on the 25th on CBS. This shows exactly how guilty he is; bully and bribe that is what he's made of.

It sure has become time to eradicate this piece of garbage.

An other thing which was mentioned on Facebook; "Americans killed a whole bunch of Russians in Syria" Wow, what will Russia "do"? Putin will be very happy I guess and hopefully will release the Trump "peeing" tape with the "girls" in Moscow.

Just as an add-on. The "tweet" as posted by Schmidt shows what an total "lunatic" dares to state. I don't know what this has to do with Democracy; let alone that such improves this country.

Also which no one has mentioned is that he will appoint much worse people than before, like Bolton , Kudlow etc.

Regardless of Jared's optimism, I get the impression that things only are getting worse by the day. Therefore I'm not very optimistic that we get rid of the guy soon, because he is very busy to built a "bunker" around him from people who go through the fire for him. Also he gets "bolder" by the day

Betsy Woodruff of the Daily Beast is reporting this morning that John Dowd, Trump's personal lawyer, has called for the shutting down of the Mueller investigation. Quoting Dowd:

“I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia Collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe’s boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt Dossier.”

The language sounds similar to "Trump speak" and I would expect that Trump helped write it. This is a follow-up to Trump's tweet of yesterday, and I would expect more on the subject from Trump or his lawyer this weekend as Trump is holed up in the White House and not Mar-a-Lago.

Trump never leaves this connection out. He makes it look like he is always working for his base . In a way he actually gets there support even if they don't agree with him . He obligates their loyalty because he is always working for them. A good friend like Ted Bundy .

It had not occurred to me that trump might have dirt on various people, but if he does, there is little doubt he would use it. Imagine Paul Ryan having an affair, it would end his marriage and ambition to be president someday.

If trump does have dirt on others, i suspect it could be coming from Russian sources and\or sources who have no problems doing anything\everything required to find out every single details about political leaders. Dirt that only be found using extreme unethical and illegal methods to uncover. Bugging someone home is illegal, but in Trump World, there are no boundaries, the winner is the winner; rules, laws, and ethical boundaries are for losers.

And think about it, trump is the perfect president for all the unethical political sources that want to take down someone. They know they can feed trump information (real or fake) that can ruin the careers\lives of people, and trump is the perfect president who has no reluctance use corrupt information in unethical\illegal ways.

Aid: "The information about Obama raping his daughters has been proven to be false, and the source is the KKK"

trump: "Who gives a fuck if its false, close to 100 million people will be believe its true, that is what is important."

What is puzzling is that trump is clearly unpopular within the rank and file at the FBI, so when the tweets shit, it only motivated them to dig harder to find whatever evidence there maybe on trump, and also make sure its done right, and within the law. They know trump will fire anyone if he perceive them as not being loyal and part of his team 110%.

Prediction: After the Mueller investigation has ended, McCabe and Comey both will win (or settle) mutli-million lawsuits against the federal government. Each will receive over 20 million each, re-instatement of full pension, their FBI firing removed from their record, and a written apology signed by the president of the US for being unjustly fired for poltical reasons. The President who signs the official apology, of course, will not be trump... This may not occur for 10 years.

Also, trump will go to his grave claiming victory, and that Comey, McCabe, Rosenstien, along with the entire FBI and Justice department conspired against him. Trump will forever deny involvement in criminal acts, and will maintain that the victims are the real criminals because in Trump World, being a victim means you are a criminal and you are a loser.

Can somebody help me with this question? If there's hard evidence that Trump has done something illegal involving Russia, why doesn't Mueller use it to indict him? If there isn't any hard evidence, why are so many people convinced that Trump has done something wrong?

Mueller is not going to release a fact finding report until he is finished. Legally it is rare to clear people in advance of finishing the investigation, and it often very frustrating for a few people not knowing where they stand. No doubt Mueller has a long list of people who have been cleared, but he has not released that information.

I personally think trump is concerned that Mueller will learn too much about his personal fiances over the past 50 years, and discover very questionable business transactions with known business criminals, unethical people, and oligarchs. These transactions might have never been investigated if trump had never risen to the level of being president during an Presidential election where the Russians made clear efforts screw everything up as much as possible. Maybe Trump is completely innocent of any collaboration with the Russians, but their involved has brought about an investigation that is likely to expose any, and all, of Trump's business transaction that were illegal. It very well maybe that trump is forced out of office not because he was involved the Russian melding, but because their meddling caused a domino effect that exposes his illegal business dealings over the the past several decades.

It is very likely that if trump had lost the election, he would be building a new Trump Tower in Moscow right now. Which, IMHO, he'd rather be doing than being President.
