Arizona -- Yes, Trump is increasingly more desperate and his Tweets show. But he also had an interview with the Daily Caller where he made more incoherent and rambling statements that indicate the guy is just a walking time bomb ready to explode.

Vox: Trump’s latest interview shows a president who’s in way over his head

Washington Post: Fact Checking President Trump's wild Daily Caller interview

Much of Trump's unease might be related to what is coming down the pike as early as today. As per Rachel Maddow's show last night, Mueller and Manafort's lawyers have both asked for a 10 day extension (to November 26th) to file a "status report" on how Manafort is cooperating before his sentencing. It suggests something is coming down in the next week, perhaps as early as today (Friday) concerning new charges to be made on individuals based on information supplied by Manafort. Roger Stone has been mentioned as a likely to be indicted, but perhaps also Donald Trump Jr who has not yet been interviewed by the Mueller team.

This is a Friday and big news happens on Fridays. Stay tuned.

PS -- I read much of our prior discussion in this thread that goes back several months to February. Time has moved quickly. It seems like yesterday.

Yes, I saw that on MSNBC. But yeah, I bet that it will take many more month before the "idiot" changes his suit for an striped one.

The New York Times this morning published an article that detailed the background and responsibilities of all the members of Mueller's investigative team. Trump may think that he is a stable genius, but this team is MUCH smarter than he is:

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/11/30/us/mueller-investigation-team-prosecutors.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

In addition, this morning's paper also had an article about the proposed Trump Tower in Moscow:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/29/us/politics/trump-russia-felix-sater-michael-cohen.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

To further complicate Dear Leader's life, German police raided the offices of Deutsch Bank in Frankfurt yesterday.

Last year, the bank paid a $425 million fine in New Yorkfor helping clients of its Moscow office illegally move $10 billion out of Russia. Also last year, the Federal Reserve fined Deutsche Bank $41 million for failing to have an effective system for complying with bank secrecy laws and laws to prevent money laundering. In September, the German bank regulator said it had appointed a monitor to ensure that Deutsche Bank had adequate measures in place to prevent money laundering and financing of terrorism.

Over the years, the bank has been a major source of funding for Donald Trump, even though very few financial institutions would lend him money.

Trying to keep track of all the shady details of Trump's life is like trying to explain a spy novel to your dog. It has been reported that the increasing pressure on Trump had made it impossible for him to prepare for the G20 summit, where he is bound to make a fool out of himself again.

During Cohen's guilty plea yesterday, the Mueller team labeled Trump "Individual 1", which means that our friend Donald might have to start wearing Depends.

the walls of Jericho are tumbling down ...

Yesterday morning, in Chicago, Federal agents swarmed Ald. Ed Burke’s City Hall and ward offices Thursday morning, kicking out employees and hours later hauling boxes of records and computers from rooms that for decades have been at the center of Chicago’s longest-standing political power structure. After their arrival, the officials taped brown paper over the windows to prevent outsiders a view inside.

Nationally, media outlets and websites were quick to note that Burke once served as the attorney who appealed property taxes on behalf of President Donald Trump’s Chicago tower before cutting those ties earlier this year.

The Trump Tower in Chicago is actually larger than the one in New York. The one in New York is 58 stories tall (664 feet) and the one in Chicago is 98 stories (1388 feet tall if you count the spire on top). It was originally going to be the tallest building in the world, but it was scaled back after the 9/11 attacks):

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_International_Hotel_and_Tower_(Chicago)

It cost $847 million to build.

One area that investigators will be looking at is how alderman Burke helped Trump avoid millions of dollars in real estate taxes on his building on the Chicago River,

    https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-met-chicago-alderman-ed-burke-offices-raided-fbi-20181129-story.html

The actual amount that Trump saved was $14 million over 12 years.

Guy great listings and nice to know; however I've got the feeling that it still will be an awful long time before any of them are behind bars.

He and his family may have committed lots of crimes, but have escaped justice all the time. Since he has about 35% of the population standing behind him as well most of the evangelicals, then I'm afraid that he will likely ask them to defend him by starting an revolt of some kind; most of them are NRA members, so there could be lots of killing in the streets.

Thus it won't be all that easy to remove him, his family and "cronies".

Michael Flynn will be sentenced on December 18, two weeks from today. So far, he is one of THIRTY SIX people that have been indicted by the Mueller team since the investigation started in May of 2017. There are also rumors that Mueller is going to release some type of report before the end of the year, which will make him the grinch the stole Trump's Christmas.

Trump himself has boasted that he alone brought back Christmas, but it sure isn't going to like the lump of coal that is about to receive.

Guy, looking at the stock market and its downward trend, than indeed X-Mas will be the turning point in the "Trump" economy. His initiated "trade wars/tariffs" will upset the whole world, as well will lead to an large recession in the spring of '19.

My guess is, that lots of people who still support him now will feel it in their wallet and will turn on him ( except the "dumb" part of the country of course).

Yes the end is near for Trump, but he will drag this country down the drain with him. I only hope that after all of this that this country comes to its senses and revamps our laws as well restricts the "powers" of Presidents and change the election system to make only votes count as well get the "money" out of elections. But likely I hope way too much.

Dutch, I told you a long time ago that you can't hurt Trump's support by attacking. His supporters are strengthened by attacks. It's like attacking their mother. Dumb or smart people are still voting citizens.

Yes, trumps is an example of greed and self-absorption, truly unable able of of basic empathy. If the bee does not sting him, he is 100% incapable of understanding the perspective of others.

We do need to be careful of becoming "THEM", when for 8 years Obama haters posted images of Obama eating a banana as example of exactly their perception that Obama's abilities to govern; nothing above a primate.

It is very very sad that he is such a shallow person with no ability to empathize with others, and is pathological. If this specific discussion were about DT's mentally disabilities as a person, we would be talking about a person who's mentally and emotionally abilities are under the age of 10. Imagine what your life would be like if many of your adult skills were no greater than a 10 year old..

One phrase that jumped to mind when I read the story below was "serves you right!"

When the NRCC revealed that they have become victims of a cyber attack, I did not feel much sympathy for them.

The difference between the hacks on the NRCC and the DNC was that the information from the Republicans was never made public. In contract, emails hacked from the DNC during the 2016 cycle were published by WikiLeaks, as part of an apparent effort to damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign in the months leading up to the election. The talking point Trump offered in July of 2016 seemed to be an effort to deflect attention from the role hackers played in the election.

Then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper explained that the difference between how hackers treated Democrats and Republicans contributed to the intelligence community’s consensus conclusion that Russian hackers were trying to help Trump — a finding Trump has spent years trying to call into question.

My view is that the Russians (and perhaps the Chinese as well) hack both Democrats and Republicans e-mails, their websites and any party affiliated organizations to see what they can potentially use for future blackmail. I have often wondered why so many Republicans have changed their tune and become "Trumpized". It could be that many of those Republicans have been compromised and are responding to blackmail threats by the Russians by either voicing support for Trump or just keeping quiet.

Democrats likewise probably have things in their past only known by the Russians through hacking. Some, of course, have already been exposed and have left office. One only needs to look at unusual behavior in voting to get suspicious.
