Not impressed. This person is ranting but I doubt that he is gaining any supporters as a result. Turned me off.

Well I noticed in going to the link and then to other youtube videos from there I was treated to the shithead known as Robert Murray, the CEO of Murray Energy. Of course Murray blamed Obama for "destroying" the coal industry for "no environmental benefit." Once again a short-sighted imbecile blames others for his stupidity. Natural gas will be the main resource burned in much cleaner power plants. Perhaps the idiot has not heard of creative destruction. So he wants to be bailed out figuring his situation is like the car companies. He would be wrong. Energy is changing. Coal cannot change. It is what it is. As for car companies they will continue to move away from fossil fuel energy sources over time. What won't change in the car companies is the continued loss of jobs as advanced manufacturing and use of automation and ai takes the place of humans. This is nothing less than the division of labor on steroids. Adam Smith didn't count on technological change as well as financialization.

So to the poster who started the thread, welcome. Do not expect to find a decent paying job with any benefits if you have left coal. It is not you, it is the nature of the system.
