Herewith how corruption works;
It is hard to see how a contract of this sort could be let without someone behind the scenes pulling some strings. It certainly smells of corruption. Personal bank accounts (most likely overseas) need to be examined...
This is a gross example of a crime called graft. I am glad this has been exposed. These people are criminals. I believe that every time there is a hurricane , the fed commits ten or twenty billion to the cleanup in a block grant that gets looted by predators who are adept at this looting ,having been in the looting business for so long.
Just like the Iraq war was looted. They had pallets of cash ,bundles called footballs ,over eight billion at least that simply went missing.
What happened to the billions given to new jersey ? Anyone from New Jersey will tell you ,nothing in has been fixed. New luxury condos were built. A few people stole it.
It's sick ,the level of corruption is sickening.its why we have a criminal a crime family occupying our government. The rule of law in America means nothing.
In the 1920's, Interior Secretary Albert Fall leased Navy petroleum reserves in Wyoming without competitive bidding, the Teapot Dome scandal was the worst scsndal of the Harding administration.
Harding has long been considered one of our worst Presidents but history will prove that Trump is far worse.
I am anxious to see who gets arrested tomorrow.
By the way, why the hell is Jeff Sessions apologizing to the Tea Party groups that got audited? That makes no sense at all.

That's the saddest part of this whole fiasco. Someone in Donald's Administration wanted to help out of buddy of theirs and now the people of an island that many Americans don't know are American citizens will continue to suffer unthinkable hardship.
Our media and the country would be up in arms if this was happening somewhere on the mainland, but we all seem to have chosen to treat the people of Puerto Rico like third (because we already treated them like second) class citizens.
Yeah, the interior secretary is a Trump appointee, and whitefish is one of those who has campaign ties to Trump, and Ryan Zinke is pals with whitefish.
"According to the Daily Beast Joe Colonnetta, the owner of HBC Investments, the private equity firm that funds Whitefish Energy, has close ties to the Republican Party and he and his wife both contributed to the Trump campaign. According to Federal Election Commission data, Colonnetta contributed $20,000 to the Trump Victory PAC during the general election, $2,700 to Trump’s primary election campaign (then the maximum amount permitted), $2,700 to Trump’s general election campaign (also the maximum), and a total of $30,700 to the Republican National Committee in 2016 alone."

I just wonder when Trump visits the far east, what more shit is going down the barrel. I think everyone over there will hate his guts, but they will stay nice as they use "culture" but we don't. Welcome "bully"!
Suggest seriously to watch this vidio; it happens to be right on.
"On Tuesday, May 1, in Blackout in Puerto Rico, FRONTLINE and NPR investigate how the federal response in Puerto Rico left millions of Americans in the dark for months — and the storm before the storm: how Wall Street, Puerto Rico's government, and Washington fueled a debt crisis that left the island's economy in ruins and its infrastructure crippled even before Maria hit."
In the Frontline PBS documentary, it tells about UBS money laundering and the Ponzi scheme pertaining to Puerto Rico's financial problems way before hurricane Maria.
In the Mueller investigation of Trump associates, can a link be drawn to Trump money laundering and operating a Ponzi scheme? To me, I might say it is possible, after all, when Maria struck the island, Trump had nothing nice to say about the people or the island.
I think he just has to be at war with non white people. Especially Hispanic people. He does not care that these are Americans. To him they are like nothing. They don't matter ,they don't have any money to steal. All of their money all of their wealth has been stolen already. They are nothing but a colony . They don't get representation they don't get a vote in congress. We have refused to acknowledge their existence since the beginning of time. So it's our fault too. We always treated them like crap.
Now it can be told. I once attended a school with a fairly substantial population of students from Puerto Rico or first generation . They are all very defensive because they have been treated so baddly. All Hispanic people are that way. You can't blame them. And they have their own language too and they all know it.
So now they are pissed. And rightfully so. If you get depressed about Puerto Rico , you can check on Haiti and see they are doing. What happened to the money there ?
