It wasn't long ago that Heather Nauert was nominated to be ambassador to the United Nations - but she never got confirmed. She continued to work as a spokesperson for the State Department until April 3, 2019. On March 29, 2019, Trump appointed her to serve as a member on the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the 12-member board meets in Washington, D.C. and is responsible for supervising the Fulbright program.[
