Can someone disagree with the views of another without being accused of being a damned robber baron or is ideological purity so sacrosanct that people with opposing views are considered persona non grata?

Well good luck ever having a Democratic majority again.

I hate to break it to you, but a "my way or the highway" mentality will only cement a Republican majority for decades to come.

Your ideological purity may help you sleep better at night, but it's not going to put the Democratic party back in control of the government. It will also make life far, far more difficult for the people you profess to care so much about.

Listen to this short interview with Limbaugh as he explains why trump's supporters voted for Moore even though trump did not endorse Moore. It is an perfect example how the human mind can rationalize the irrational. Judge for your self.

    Hannity interview with Limbaugh. insider.foxnews.com/2017/09/29/rush-lim...

Paraphrasing Limbaugh's rationalization of the election of Moore: "trump's base is sophisticated enough to elect the right politicians even when trump endorses the wrong ones. His base has his back no matter what he might say or do that is wrong. They will do the right thing even if trump will not; they'll correct his mistakes so he can be successful"

It is important that we understand that trump's base because they see\feel that this is THEIR time. They perceive this to be a major historic event where the far\fringe right takes full control, just like how the country shifted to the left during the 1960s. They believe the trump movement is as bigger and more important than the civil rights movement of the 60s; they believe that trump will change not only the US, but change the world, and someday trump will be on Mount Rushmore and have a statue twice as large than Lincoln in DC. That is their perspective of what is happening right now in our country. This is their reality, they don't just perceive themselves as wing of the republican party. Are they correct, or simply delusional just like that crazy uncle at family reunions believes without a doubt that Richard Nixon was framed?

My one word answer "yes" is meaningless.

Your question was two parts posing opposite conditions that could not be answered with a single yes or no. A single yes or no contradicts itself. I answered a single answer because I know you are so obsessed to criticize what I write you would post something negative without paying attention that my single yes answer is meaningless. You simply rush to criticize my posts without paying attention. Your anger has you blindly obsessed attacking anything I write. You have an obvious obsessive anger problem. Since you are a moderator I suggest you review the situation.
