How crazy can it get. In the absolute shameful fraud generated by Michael Phelps, Phelps is asking for a rematch in a totally fake contest. He was supposed to race a great white shark which is an imbecilic scenario in the first place. I don't know the details but the supposed race ended up being between Phelps and a digitally created shark. Apparently he lost and is now asking for a rematch. Freedom of speech or not there should be limits on the fraud perpetuated by goons playing to entertainment audiences. Need warnings in large bold print warning people of pure fraud. The absolute diabolical nature comes from the event being put on and shown by the Discovery Channel. Initially with some credibility but by the 2010s the discovery channel had expanded into reality television and pseudo-scientific entertainment.

What does this have to do with anything this website is devoted to?

If you want to have a discussion about why far more people watch that garbage than participate in our democracy then I'm all ears, but who cares if Phelps races a digital shark or a real shark? Both ideas are dumb.

And what does someone racing a digital/real shark have to do with freedom of speech or how far the FCC should go in regulating the airwaves?

Relax. Take a breath. You're far too eager to be confrontational.

You are always talking about the voters not self educating or getting up to vote. I was showing you who and what you have to deal with to get voters to vote. Freedom of speech??? Free to lie and suffer the consequence or prevent the lie and suffer another consequence?

jaredsxtn asks while expressing his own private censorship and attack on free speech:

"What does this have to do with anything this website is devoted to?"

Here are a few items from the list of forum topics suggested by the site :

"Values, Rights, Traits, Emotions, Psychology, Interests, Hobbies & Vices, Age Family & Social Class, Religion"

If your eyes are not open to the world around you, you run the danger of getting blindsided.

jaredsxtn says: "If you want to have a discussion about why far more people watch that garbage than participate in our democracy then I'm all ears,"

Then completely obviates the statement missing the point as TJ identifies with "Relax. Take a breath. You're far to eager to be confrontational."

Yes, he is. As well seldom looks at the big picture; everything is connected in this world, but he lifts out only sentences but can't absorb the meaning or consequences of an total picture/story, if you have only "book" knowledge and are only detail oriented.
