This how the game is played; Trump still has not signed the new sanction bill approved by Congress. Wow, he signed all kind of executive orders in 3 minutes or less; but this thing is already weeks in process; guess why? I the meantime Putin smartly says that the Americans who get tossed out of Russia have till September to get out. (Obama gave the Russians a week or less) I guess the game is if Trump with his diversion tactics delays signing this; it will be out of the news; let alone application of the sanctions; someone has to implement those; but those positions to verify that may not even be filled.
All an huge joke to misled the people!!
I think we should pull 90% of our embassy staff out. Leave a small group of 3 or 4 in 4 main cities and evacuate.
Trump won't do that because he's beholden to them. I would also eliminate most of their remaining persons here.

A bill is awaiting his signature, what happens if he doesn't sign the sanctions bill? No sanctions because the president won't sign it. If Trump doesn't sign the sanctions bill within 10 days (allotted time), and if congress recesses during that time, the bill dies.

Yes don't forget that this bill includes sanctions as well for Iran and N.Korea; thus not only Russia. I just wonder what kind of congress we have, who are too lazy to go to Trumps office with the document, drop it on his desk and wait for him to sign and don't leave till he does.

Internet is abuzz saying Trump signed the bill but he is criticizing congress for the bill. Too bad, maybe no Trump tower in Putinville now?

I wonder about if it will have any effect at all, because all the three sanctioned parties trade with each other. But yeah it is good that the GOP finally made a stance against Trump. It will help the housing market in D.C. once the 700 plus people ejected from Russia return here in September. The "story" does not end there.
