Russia has now impounded two American held buildings in Russia as well kicked out lots of Embassy personnel. So let the fun begin; Trump still did not sign the veto proof new sanctions bill. Thus things get very interesting. Thus I still wonder what Trump and Putin discussed during their two meetings; I bet something may pop up related to Trumps money laundering via the Russians, if Putin opens up his mouth or produces the "tape" with the "girls" in Moscow as an next step to punish the "baby" in the White House.

This how the game is played; Trump still has not signed the new sanction bill approved by Congress. Wow, he signed all kind of executive orders in 3 minutes or less; but this thing is already weeks in process; guess why? I the meantime Putin smartly says that the Americans who get tossed out of Russia have till September to get out. (Obama gave the Russians a week or less) I guess the game is if Trump with his diversion tactics delays signing this; it will be out of the news; let alone application of the sanctions; someone has to implement those; but those positions to verify that may not even be filled.

All an huge joke to misled the people!!

Considering all the "news" etc. , I noticed that all the "news" about the "sanctions" is now on the back burner. Again "diversion" tactics? Due to his "busy schedule" , I guess he will claim he has no time to sign the thing. Probably his "agreement" with Putin says " I'll take care of that" Just wait till September, if I did by then not sign anything yet, it will be under the carpet. Because by that time I'm too busy with tax reform and N.Korea. Halejuja.

I think we should pull 90% of our embassy staff out. Leave a small group of 3 or 4 in 4 main cities and evacuate.

Trump won't do that because he's beholden to them. I would also eliminate most of their remaining persons here.

Keeping a back channel open via secure phone w/Russia, Putin will tell Donald how to handle things. A bill is awaiting his signature, what happens if he doesn't sign the sanctions bill? No sanctions because the president won't sign it. If Trump doesn't sign the sanctions bill within 10 days (allotted time), and if congress recesses during that time, the bill dies.

Yes don't forget that this bill includes sanctions as well for Iran and N.Korea; thus not only Russia. I just wonder what kind of congress we have, who are too lazy to go to Trumps office with the document, drop it on his desk and wait for him to sign and don't leave till he does.

Internet is abuzz saying Trump signed the bill but he is criticizing congress for the bill. Too bad, maybe no Trump tower in Putinville now?

Yes he signed it, but objected. I wonder about if it will have any effect at all, because all the three sanctioned parties trade with each other. But yeah it is good that the GOP finally made a stance against Trump. It will help the housing market in D.C. once the 700 plus people ejected from Russia return here in September. The "story" does not end there.

We can only hope that the sanctions hurt Trump & Co,'s wallet, because sanctions sometimes prevent American corporations or companies from doing business with sanctioned countries. Maybe that's why he didn't approve of the congress writing and passing the bill? Maybe he had or intended to have more financial dealings with Russia?
