Just turned on CNN and they're talking about Russian sanctions. Apparently when adoptions were mentioned regarding Jr's meeting with the Russians last year.... it's (adoptions) code for sanctions. Who knew. This is being discussed a lot on television currently.

I'll make a wild guess and say that Trump's second meeting with Putin those extra hours (G-20 summit) had something to do with Trump relaxing sanctions on Russia, just a guess, I don't have anything concrete to back up my accusation.

If not that, then what else would it be?

You can go to jail for secrecy like that in FL. Friend of mine went to jail for seven days for withholding information while on the school board.

I called it a couple days (maybe not here, can't recall). My perception of the whole thing is that Trump will use "adoption" issue as the reason for lifting Russian sanctions. Trump's BS be something like this:

"I have negotiated a great deal, perhaps the greatest deal in US history, I am going to save millions and millions of Russian children who want to come and live in the US. The details are still being worked out, but don't worry, I'll handle everything so that its an amazing deal. I always make great deals, nobody makes better deals than me, ask anybody, and they'll tell you: 'he makes the best deals, great deals all over the world, so great you can't even imagine'"

I am anti-conspiracy type person, but when it comes to Trump I do believe Putin has something on Trump thus Putin has poker hand of 4 aces, and 2 kings, compared to trump's hand of worthless cards without a single pair. However, Putin being a smart man is not simply threatening trump, He likely made promises to Trump that will increase Trumps wealth and power if they work together as a team. Threat, plus reward = huge Trump profits $$$$.

Bottomline, Trump will lift some, if not all, Russian sanctions. IMHO, chances are close to 100% that this will happen. If Trump can do it without congress, it will happen 110%.

I believe you're correct. Putin must have something on this manchild, otherwise, why would he be sucking up to a sworn enemy of the state? And how about this, a story broke that Trump was looking into the powers of presidential pardoning, everyone involved in a huge cover up will be pardoned? Including himself? The last time I heard someone say pardon me was when they farted.

Article from yesterday from Vox. Code words and hidden agendas are part of lie fest that is our lives. I bet there are lots of American children available but that poorness can't be washed off. Forgive that snarky line.

About the "pardon" thing. Again this is related to our Constitution, which is "missing" clear guidance. I heard a lot of "legal" people give different views. It is time that this country wakes up and updates the Constitution; "17" amendments only in 300 plus years does not cut it. Major "amendments and additions" are needed; such as getting rid of the "electoral college"; 2nd Amendment (update to clearly to state who can carry arms and limits of types and rounds etc.) Proper "vetting laws"; proper qualification/expertise laws for incoming Presidents as well higher management jobs; proper "emolument laws"; proper conflict of interest laws; proper "pardoning laws"; proper uniform voting laws applicable for all States (as well equipment etc.) and of course laws to stop super PAC's or money from the rich or corporations" injected'' into any elections etc. ; proper immigration laws (without discrimination); proper laws for lobbyists; prefer no lobbying at all (especially for government interfaces) etc. etc.

( If I would mention them all I would run out of paper). Wake up America; Trump wants an "dictatorship" and he's getting closer to that by the day with the help of his own party and Fox news/Beitbard/ and others. Sorry but things are moving much faster in that direction than I ever thought it would be.

I agree that there are probably many adoptable American children, and I cannot figure out why an American family would wish to adopt a child from another country, we possibly have plenty of kids here that are in need. Maybe Americans are paid by both governments involved to adopt foreign? as an incentive?

I never believed this statement by Kushner that his meet with Russians had to do with adopting, other than adopting the new sanctions imposed on Russia, this administration seems to be a full house of liars.

Thanks for posting that link, it is a good and must read for anyone interested in the subject.

That's correct Dutch, we need more amendments, the constitution was written for the past, we have modern day problems that it does not cover. Change would be like trying to indict a congress though, and there would be a need for a lot of paper, like a book with 1,000 or more pages.
