Many Americans like a brash authoritarian leader like Putin and Trump. Some of them are anarchists.
I wish more people in this country understood civics.
Democrats are powerless when it comes to holding Donald accountable, at least until after the 2018 elections. And I'm not holding my breath for that because I fear that "Bernie or Bust" so called Democrats will torpedo any chance Democrats have to take over the House and Senate in the same way they did in the 2016 election.
The only body that is able to hold a President accountable for anything is the Legislative branch. Sure, courts can rule laws or Executive Orders unconstitutional, but the only body that can do anything about a President is the Legislative branch.
I'm not trying to teach you a civics lesson (because I know you fully understand this), but I am trying to teach everyone else out there that elections actually do matter and voting for a third party, or not voting at all, has its consequences.
The Republican Party is not going to fully investigate Donald's campaign and they are not going to fully investigate his business dealings before or during his Presidency. They are not going to fully investigate if he paid all of his taxes and they are not going to fully investigate if he is violating the Emoluments Clause. And anyone who believes otherwise is living in a fantasy land.
Hopefully enough Democrats in the right states recognize that in November 2018, but I'm not holding my breath.
