I was aware of 10 round magazines but subjectively questioned 15 round magazine. I had researched and verified that 15 round magazines are available. The magazine fits in the gun without extending past the gun. The bullets are stacked staggered in two separate side by side rows. The Glock 19 comes standard with 15 round magazines with options to 33 round magazines. The 33 round magazine sticks out the length of a 18 round magazine.

Chicago cops do.
BTW, last week, Laquan McDonald was on trial, by Van Dyke's defense team. It was stereotypical of what white lawyers do when a white cop kills a black person.
I would venture to say you could probably obtain or make any size magazine for any semi auto weapon if you wanted or needed to. According to official reports, Van Dyke had a 15 round magazine which he emptied into Laquan McDonald, he seemed really intent in making sure he killed the youth.
I didn't do any research on magazines or guns, I'm only a little bit familiar with a Colt 45 govt. issue because I owned one when I was in the military in Alaska. I used to bring it along whenever me and my friends went fishing/camping. I also owned a Marlin 30-30 which I carried on a strap when hiking through the woods. My friends carried 41 & 44 mags in case of running into bears or mad moose. One friend had a 12 gauge pump which he loaded with slugs and ooo buck shot for stopping power. I am not at all familiar with Glock or any other type of semi auto pistols. I once owned a foreign made 22 semi auto which was a POS, it looked like a Lugar but was not a Luger. I never really liked the Marlin either, it would pinch your finger if you didn't pay close attention when jacking it. The nicest firearm I ever owned was a Ruger M77 30-06 bolt action, I could hit a 9" paper plate at 150 yds. using a scope. I also owned a Ruger .357 mag, it was relatively cheap to target practice with using 38 cal. bullets.
I got rid of all my guns when I came back to the lower 48 because there wasn't any need to own them. Whenever I see someone packing a gun in my local Walmart store, I usually will leave their premises.
I think that Van Dyke could have stopped Laquan by using a taser or by using pepper spray, Laquan had a knife (3" blade) folded up when he was assassinated.
