What is Hillary doing as a politician? She is listing the reasons that contributed to her loss of the election. She lost to the worst candidate ever to be a candidate for president. If she wants to be a contender she needs to be saying what she will do as President. That shouldn't be hard to do since Trump has abandoned almost every promise he made to get elected. What would Trump have to tweet is she said she was going to make good even better on his promise of lots of good paying jobs? If she focused on that alone she would be a shoe in for 2020. She already has the people that will vote for her. Just get back the people that didn't vote for her. Lots of good paying jobs.

She's .001 in importance. No disrespect intended but my vote in November was for the party (D) that I thought in general was better for most people. If anyone with similar beliefs doesn't think the party needs a major rebuild then please tell me the color of the sky in your world.

Hillary should work with Barack to put strength and creativity into the party. A youthful appearance would sure help. 70+ is our current image. Joe for president is more of that.

At least Biden knows where votes are important, Mrs. Clinton forgot where Wisconsin was.

    bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/ho...

People who think Biden is too old to run shouldn't also be looking to Bernie as a 2020 candidate either.

    Joe Biden 74 y.o.

    Bernie Sanders 75 y.o.

    Trump 70 y.o.

    Andrea Merkel 62 y.o.

    Trudeau 45 y.o.

Elizabeth Warren will be 68 in June

There just ain't no dirty politics playing democrats anymore. Young blood isn't always an answer, young = inexperienced sometimes.

I agree with Mrs. Clinton to a degree, Comey was a problem for her when he leaked a story about her emails.

    I'm a young(ish) person and I think ageism is a terrible thing.

I don't care about Secretary Clinton's, Senator Sanders, or Joe Biden's age. What I care about is whether or not a politician I'm voting for has the same values as me. If they are healthy and their mind is still highly functioning then why should I care if they qualify for Social Security benefits?

The Dalai Lama is 81 and yet he is still going strong.

It's not ageism at all. Many are healthy and vibrant late into life. Let's be serious though. Few jobs will age you more than the presidency and we have seen past presidents leave without their youthful appearance. It's difficult getting your candidate elected when they won the popularity contest but didn't win election or even come close. I suggested a youthful approach meaning that a candidate under 68 might not die in office and that younger voters might be more apt to actually vote. Canada and France have delivered exactly what I would like to see. In the booth wondering if Biden's or Sander' s VP would be best suited to lead us. Lmao. 50 shades of bad is what the new DNC motto should be. We struck out in '16 and we're delivering more of the same. I don't care if in '20 we win by 5 million votes if we're not winning states. You have seen the electoral map that Trump loves to brag about. Time for significant changes.

I was surprised HC dumped on the DNC by saying it was bankrupt and gave her nothing of value during her campaign. Normally she keeps those criticism private. I didn't see any value in finger pointing. She wasn't elected because of a perfect storm of factors that peaked on election day. If the election had happened a few days earlier, or a few days later, she likely would have elected. It just didn't happen. She should just write a best seller book from her perspective, hell (IMHO), Trump already got his ghost writer working on his Presidential Bio:

"And Comey pulled out his 44 magnum and put it my head, but I quickly disarmed him and pinned him to the floor of the Oval Office before he had a chance to shoot. I said 'Comey, why are you trying to frame me? he replied 'Obama wiretapped Trump tower, and he's planning to overthrow the US Government. He ordered me to assassinate you'. I knew it was true, so I decided to take immediate action, and had him fired."

Yes T.J . you see it correctly; Indeed time for significant changes in the election system and education of people here.

Like Jared said age really should not matter, but knowledge and an sound mind may help. Yes indeed the types of Macron, Trudeau, Merkel would work fine, however if they would have to work with the present idiotic election system(s) here, then they would be doomed in an hurry and we likely will end up with the Trump types, because then we deserve those types, if we don't change the election system. Only votes should count, as well no "money" involvement.
