Again as the asshole gave a speech about what NATO should do "money wise" (spent that in the US war industry, he thinks) he did not have the decency to thank the Europeans for their help with the US instigated wars; they lost soldiers to. Let alone the cost for wars, which no one in Europe wants. Don't forget an big part of the Euro zone is dependent of Russian resources like natural gas etc. Of course Trump has no clue what Europe is all about. Just shove an Montenegro President aside who's predecessor was murdered by the Russians. At least Macron had the decency to first shake hands with Merkel, not Trump.

We've got an sick puppy who does not know the world at all.

He is an embarrassment. Nobody to apologize because the man who should lead is not a leader at all. He will continue to be a disappointment and his arrogance will offend most. One day he will be challenged. Not today though.

I'm waiting for the day he extends his hand for his handshake, and the other person punches him in the face and breaks his jaw badly enough to go on a liquid diet. Hopefully, if or when it happens it'll be a woman doing it.

And I don't know why NATO should have to pay for another country's mistakes of going into wars America and the UK create.

Dock well said; the worst part which people here don't see is that he forces the EU to cough up military money for the so called protection of Europe. The trick is that the US wants them to buy our weapons. Thus just again an "deal"to help again the US war industry as with Saudia Arabia. It has nothing at all to do with keeping Europe save; only "money" (for the rich).

Agreed, it's all about money. Mark my words that once payment is received he won't think about or mention the Saudis again.

Der ubergroppenfuhrer's indelicate attempt to slap the wrist of other NATO nations will likely fail. Public embarrassment by a political leader who is respected might have the desired result. However since virtually no one respects Trump he likely won't get increased monies. Of course they might up their monies slightly anyway but imo Trump dismissed the entire issue from his so-called mind the second he left. And there is also the issue of S.o.f.a's for various bases on European soil and how the host nations might try to change things in light of this pompous overbearing oaf. The problem with an "the art of the deal"-er is that business deal makers aren't interested in diplomacy, merely winning. Diplomacy between nations is entirely different. And he doesn't get it at all. Does he consider what the Saudis would or wouldn't do with the weapons they buy? Does he consider that the Saudis either overtly or covertly approve of terrorism by the wahhabists that support the royal family? He is worse than a simplistic rigid fool like Bush2, he is an arrogant, amoral fool.

Many suggest a small percentage will end up in evil persons hands. Then ISIS will be using the newest best stuff. Hmmm

Yes Lonely absolutely right; about Europe, it is an independent block in which each country determines their own budget; why should Monaco, Luxembourg etc. spent fortunes on military things while they are smaller than an postage stamp. Trump is just an big stupid ass dictating Europe what to do; he acts like he's the "boss" there. Forget it, he is not "king" of the world.

All the leaders there see him as an bully asshole and shook their heads when he gave that speech. The Deutsche Post said like Obama did "unfit" for the job; get rid of him as fast as you can.

I like to add that Trump made an total ass of himself in Europe; especially in Sicily when he refused to enforce the already agreed upon Paris accord on Global Warming. Thus this "ass" did not even wanted to walk with all the other people attending and drove in an golf cart waving at people. This guy belongs in an mental institution : right now!!

Sure he reached his goal Europe they "hate" him now even more, by lecturing the Europeans. Sorry their culture is thousands of years; the US only 300 years. Yes, I think he succeeded in to get more enemy's than friends. I think Merkel and Macron will become an strong block, to distance themselves from the US. If this guy represents the US from now on, then indeed as I predicted this country will loose all its leverage in the world.

The bad part of his bad behavior is that the rest of Europe doesn't really know for sure if America would come to it's rescue should Russia start trying to take over more sovereignties, he surely has sown uncertainty among the Europeans, since Trump doesn't see Russia as a threat.

Trump is the whore/prostitute that has been paid. The payer Russia now expects him to earn his pay. I envision Vlad calling his puppet each morning to assign tasks. You know that list of 40 objectives that was provided to you Donald.... We have accomplished some but next you should work on number 4, 5, 9, 17, 24 and 30. Don't ever forget we have that video of you that would be massively embarrassing from when you stayed in our hotel for the pageant you ran. You were decadent but clumsy. That and loans mean we own you and thus your ignorant country. Ha ha ha ha ha. Too easy.

As long as you do what you're told, you can also gain and add snarky comments to feed your sheep.

Admittedly off topic of NATO but not really.

Dock, I would not worry about that; I've got the idea that Europe will tie up more with China than the US, especially in trade. Also the trade with Russia will increase, especially with natural resources. Also due to Trumps attitude NATO will certainly contemplate to reduce its role in the US instigated wars
