ProPublica: The Beleaguered Tenants of ‘Kushnerville’

After reading this long article, I can certainly understand why Donald Trump likes Jared Kushner and keeps him close. They both know how to make money off poor people by suing them.

"Tenants in more than a dozen Baltimore-area rental complexes complain about a property owner who they say leaves their homes in disrepair, humiliates late-paying renters and often sues them when they try to move out. Few of them know that their landlord is the president’s son-in-law."

You don't have to read the whole article. It covers several cases with similar themes...Kushner companies suing tenants and counting on outlasting them in the courts. It defines Jared Kushner...his persona. Much like his father-in-law lacking empathy.

By voting for Trump people here invited the whole "mob/mafia". That is what you get if you refuse to "vet" an President. If this country would be smart it would make strict laws about "vetting" such people. Instead we "vet" the hell out of an poor shell shocked refugee, but nothing for any high position. Laughable; we call ourselves "Number 1" in the world? Yes, in "stupidity".

This is also what you get when a tax code runs wild and does not suit or service the needs of a country. Winning is such a huge part of the modern vocabulary that people don't realize that accumulating large numbers in bank accounts serves no purpose whatsoever. Money was designed for and meant to be spent. Not hoarded. Hoarded money is stagnated money. Anything stagnated suffers the effects of attrition, rots and falls off.

Good find Schmidt, I have a customer that shut down his operation in Miami because of that attitude. We had never had a signed contract in 30 years. Down there he says they live for any chance to get out of something like it is a bonus.

Kushner's real estate problems are topped off by an office building with an unserviceable occupancy rate of 30%. This thread lists some IMO in your face devilish practices. I think the address says it all and in the beginning was probably a boastful warning of the intent and character of the company. What about 666 Fifth Ave?

It's getting close to the bewitching day, it's almost time for him to lawyer-up. The walls are closing in on the rat pack (no pun intended).

Kushner now being eyed in special investigation, looks like the chickens are coming to roost.

    pbs.org/newshour/making-sense/jared-kus...

"How Jared Kushner and others gerrymander to sell visas to foreigners — at a steep discount"

I watched this report on PBS yesterday.

I am so glad I receive PBS, it's more informative than NBC, CBS, FOX, or ABC.

The link below is WAPO, it's a good read too.

Observation: "If they need you, or want you, then squeeze them for everything they got. Withhold anything and everything they need\want. Break them, and make them more dependent on you than before"

One pattern I have noticed about Trumps business practices is that when he dealing with equal or lesser business partners (ie smaller countries, European partners, etc) he squeezes them as much as he perceives is possible so that they don't hold back. He is not a concern on how it impacts the relationship, or if it causes them to become financially unstable; he wants that ever possible penny even if he doesn't need it.

Observation: "If they are an untapped market, or reluntant to do business, or simply bigger, then befriend them and tell them what they want to hear. Make them want to give you everything they got"

If Trump feels he is dealing with a customer that is more powerful or a new customer, he does everything possible to befriend them. As we have witnessed, he embraces countries that are not considered our allies. And, turns his back on countries who we have been allies since WWII.

Kushner is traveling to the middle east to negotiate an "peace plan' Wow. Question: how can an "Jew" do that??? Where is Tillerson? is he on vacation? Is Kushner qualified to do so; never worked in the government before; let alone can he "negotiate" peace, if he's part of the problem. This country is the laughing stock of the world by doing this. I think John Kerry will die laughing.

Exactly right. Send someone that they unquestionably Hate because of inherent reasons. Trump doesn't care. He believes he is grooming him for the time in 8 years when he becomes the top guy.

Businessman and politician are two different personalities . Kushner has always been dealing from a position of self interest. Anything can happen but chances are it won't be good.

Kushner's company to a large loan finalized 1 month before the election. That bank has been under much scrutiny for shady dealings involved with Russia.

Yes Tony; my wife showed me the same this morning; I bet the whole family has loans. Trump did not pay what he loaned back yet for sure (also Deutsche Bank); neither his Russian loan(s) via money "laundry schemes"

In the fictional ending of Trump's presidency, it's Kersher that takes down Trump. Kershner takes immunity and testifies that Trump had several contacts with the Russians both during and after the campaign. Trump's motive for lying is because he has several billion in loans that are indirectly connected to russia, funneled to him through a series of banks. The loans are the type of loans that never have to be repaid, at least not be repaid in $$$$. They are the type of loans get are repaid through access to information that is off limits to the russians.... ;)
