On CNBC I saw an"sample" of what the "GOP" wants. One statement made it very clear: CUT everything for the poor or sick; less foodstamps , healthcare, services, rehab , education etc you name it. But plenty of money for the army.

Deplorables you got your wish; see you in the poor house, bring your own food and bandages.

Their view is to means test all who are receiving government subsidies, in Wisconsin, it's been proposed that recipients undergo drug testing and force them to actively seek employment, the GOP want's to eliminate free grazers. The deplorables don't care, they think god will provide for them, they want an efficient and lean government. Need food? Need a job? enlist in the armed forces, free food and housing. Free firearms and bullets.

What I find so shocking about this proposed budget is how it seems to surgically strike at the very people who are solely responsible for Donald's victory. His entire platform was about convincing the common man that he alone will fix all of their problems and then he releases a budget that slashes every single program his voters use so he can give tax cuts to his rich buddies.

The sad thing about it is that his millions of adoring loyalists will blame anyone but him if any of this budget becomes law. He really can shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose any supporters.

That's why when you see reports from MSM about town hall meetings with their (politician's) constituents, they're mostly hostile towards the representative, these budget cuts are NOT what they wanted or expected at all. Now they're finding out, they're not happy, but they still support their elected president, which is a real head scratcher. Just wait till they see the new and improved Trumpcare bill.

Yes Jared; you are right. But you are living in between all these loyalists and what are you going to do about it? Still defending this country?

What does this even mean? I'll always defend this country in the same way you defend yours.

Would you give up on the Netherlands if Geert Wilders was elected in March or would you fight to make sure he was removed from power as soon as possible?

I would like to see the negative attitude against the common folks dropped. People need help and not further alienation. All the low income people had been hearing is their wages were stagnant. You can't blame them for falling for the lies promising them a better deal. There were and are no good examples of how it should be. The reward will come if it ever does from a safer, healthier happier citizenry.

Poor people are losers. Trump likes to lable people and if you need help, you're a loser. If you're a loser (poor) you're not worthy of anything and you're lucky to be allowed to continue living. The winners (mega wealthy) need and are quite worthy of assistance so they'll get massive tax cuts paid for by the poor via medical assistance, food assistance and those other things that Donald decided they don't need. If you give them medical care and food they'll just keep on living. Poor all the while. LOSERS.

It is interesting Donald Trump's choice of a new word to describe the Manchester bomber and his kind: "Losers".

“I won’t call them monsters, because they would like that term... they’re losers, just remember that,” he said Tuesday during a press conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

After Trump's Saudi visit he has dropped the term "radical Islamic terrorist" from his vocabulary (at least for now). So he had to find an alternative word that in his mind is the most despicable person in the world...Loser.

For Trump there are always winners and losers. And he sees himself as a winner. He looks down on losers, for him the worst of the worst people on the planet...part of his narcissistic personality disorder.

    He's sick.

The thing what really amazes me is, if in any other civilized country such budget would be presented there would be an revolution. Down here at least the 40% still love the guy; whatever he does they approve because "god" sent him.

Yes the "rich" need an raise; and of course we need an "wall". The only advantage is that in the Netherlands the shipyards are making fortunes, building huge yachts for the increasing wealth of our billionaires. No wonder the Euro is gaining versus the dollar.

All I can say to all poor Americans; welcome to the Un-united Banana Republic States. (UBRS)

It still mystifies me how Trump supporters are sticking with him with this crazy budget proposal. But remember they watch Fox News, and Fox and Friends and Hannity portray an entirely different picture of Trump...one where Trump is the victim of the liberal media and their "fake news". Add to that Rush Limbaugh's far reaching airwaves to all corners of rural America...not to mention Alex Jones and his Infowars.

Even some Republicans are saying this budget proposal is "dead in the water". It must be approved by September 30th unless Congress approves another Continuing Resolution at that time...or shut down the government.

Nevertheless, between now and September 30th, we'll see Republicans negotiating with Republicans, and Democrats mostly having "observer status". If Dems want to stop this insanity, then the grass roots constituents need to ramp up protests and write or call their Congresspersons. Only pressure from their constituents can make Republicans in Congress take pause.

Question: Where are all the demonstrations now; haven't seen any lately. This whole country should demonstrate, but does not.

In November I said that the first to get the ax are going to be the I got mines and the SS disability and poorest of the poor on Medicaid . Then the arts and education as the fascists have no need for people who can think for themselves.

The right has been attacking the AARP for twenty years. They have an alternative retired person republican I got mine most likely based in Moscow or some tax exempt island nation. They are being targeted to pay forty thousand dollars a year for healthcare.. all retired people have pre existing conditions.

There are millions of poor white people who really upon EBT for nutrition. Children whose parents only way to buy food is EBT. It sucks to be poor. It's not a benefit to be on EBT. It means your life is less than ideal. There is nothing wrong with giving people food. In our country ,we are so rich and have so much food , it's should be free.

    Free to all.

Grocery stores all rely on EBT to exist. Just like hospitals and healthcare clinics all rely upon Medicaid to exist .

If you take away the ACA or the EBT , they go out of business. That does not benefit the corporations.

    So it won't happen.

He doesn't have an elaborate vocabulary so he will just continue with simple and crude terms. When he's compared to Mr. Obama it's a drastic difference. Incredible communicator or Moron. That's only noticed by thinkers though.
