I somehow knew when Trump banned American media outlets from his meeting with Russian diplomats that there was a problem with that. Come to find out, he leaked sensitive information to Russians, pertaining to ISIS.

"President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said that Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State."

Trump's security clearance should be revoked, and he should be charged with treason, aiding and abetting a non U.S. friendly nation.

Seriously? WOW! Did he also take the Russian ambassador on a tour of WH underground bunker and the pentagon? (sarcastic question).

"And over here is a panel of 20 screens, each one has live pictures from our surveillance satellites, and if we go into this computer room, you'll see this top secret...."

Trump appears to have a need to impress his guests, and depending on the guest, he will pull out something that will impressive them. So, it follows his pattern that when the Russian ambassador visited the WH, that Trump would do\say something to impress the Russians in a way that no other person could; instantly provide them with highly classified information that even our allies don't have, and provide it the Russians without consulting with security\intel branches or even his own staff. And it doesn't take much speculation that the Russians fed Trump's echo, praising him being greatest American president ever.

Yes you said it correctly. If you look at the pictures taken by Tass and look at Trump's body language, you can clearly see that he was very "exited"; his "blood pressure" was sky high looking at his face. Why is there no law in this country that an person who runs for President should have an extensive "mental" test before he/she can run???

I like to add; if you look at the whole Trump mess, why has 't he been kicked out way back? The guy acts as the Dart Vader lost in space.

Trump admitted that he did. However McMasters made an ass out of himself by running outside and call all of this "fake news"; thus this guy can be added to the long list of people who were screwed by Trump. Trump even bragged about that he as President can do these things, just like the "groping". Yes that is what you get if you have no rules; let alone "checks and balances" about the behavior of any President. If Obama would have done so, he would be in jail for sure. The crazy thing is that 82% of the Republicans still support this lunatic according to MSNBC. And still people think this is "god's country". Forget it!!!

Trump in his early morning Tweets seem to have confirmed that he shared the "information" and notes that he had the legal right to do so as President. This seems to contradict McMasters statements yesterday. Again this is another example of his staff not being able to get the story straight in covering for their boss.

In looking at the Tass photos I'll make one other observation. Trump was smiling broadly (or was it a fake smile) in shaking hands with the Russian ambassador. I never see Trump smiling in photos...hardly ever. I wander why he was so happy. On the other hand, remember how uncomfortable he was in sitting next to Angela Merkel.

Schmidt, like I said; watch the body language.

Note: how does this compare to Hillary's e-mail issue? I guess much worse!

It's amazing how our right-wing "Democratic" contributors who bashed Hillary Clinton's email use for months are now eerily silent. I'm sure they're trying to figure out a way to spin this to make it seem normal, which Fox "News" has been attempting to do for the past 24 hours.

I honestly wonder what it's going to take for the Republican Party to get a spine and begin holding Donald accountable. My guess is that they will just bury their head in the sand and try to act like none of this is happening so they can get back to the more important business of taking away healthcare from 20 million Americans and slashing taxes on the super rich. Because we all know that tax cuts for the rich are far more important than reigning in a President who is very likely compromised by the Russian government.

When Trump gives classified information to the Russians, it called sharing

When anyone else gives classified information to anyone, its called leaking at best, at worst it's espionage.

Like Trump said, he has the legal right to give away as much classified information as he wants, and if he wants his ego stroked, I am sure he has plenty of classified information to share,

The russians are smart enough to see that Trump is like a drunk CEO at a party, they just need to keep feeding him drinks and he'll start blabbing the company secrets. Except with Trump, who does not drink, all they need him to do is start talking about various topics they are interested in while making Trump feel like he is the most important man in the world. If they get him on roll, Trump will reveal far too much. I am sure they'd love to get him out on the golf course, or a private dinner at Mar a largo. The less official the better.

He did what he did while being white with a penis. Thus 99.99999 % forgivable and most certainly forgettable. That's our new standard. Short of boiling white new borns, just about anything is acceptable or forgivable. Sad times in this country.

Did you see SNL on Saturday, they made a very similar satire comment. They had a skit of Trump being interviewed Lester Holt, and Trump admits he fired comey to because of the Russian investigation. Holt surprised says "Did I just get him confessing to a crime?" In his ear piece, someone says "Nope, nothing matters anymore".

The implication being doesn't matter what Trump does or says, the politicians in Washington are not going to hold him accountable. They may complain with an official comment "Yeah, that was bad", but says the same thing, the next day about something else, and never take any real action beyond saying "yeah, that was bad". If he called Obama and his family "house n-words", the political response from elected officials would be the same "yeah, that was bad"

Missed SNL but I feel that way as well. Difference being it frustrates the $X#! out of me. The racial slur wouldn't even be considered bad by 60% of that party.

Hey there Jared, when Trump gets out of prison, he might write a book entitled "How I Hung Myself With My Own Rope", I'm sure it'll be a interesting read, LOL.

You can see how much spine repugs have, just watch when Trump speaks and Paul Ryan and Pence are standing nearby, they're bobbing their heads as if to say YES and agree with him. Here's Ryan in his own weinermobile,
