Is it possible to do something of immense moral, social, environmental, safety and health value but with no profit? If collision avoidance electric cars were mandated with universal quick change batteries supported by national quick change battery stations the quality of life would be skyrocketed up. Death, injury, misery and suffering from auto mobile accidents would be virtually eliminated. The medical savings could pay for 100% complete pay medical coverage. The only draw back would be the fighting over the required legislation for spending programd to employ all the out of work auto workers, emergency room staff, lawyers and oil field workers. I think safe and clean would lose miserably to choking and deadly.

Thinking about being wrong on attributing the "lifes not fair quote" to Gates I started checking postd. This is the second time I posted false information but never on purpose. I had written 1.3 million people die from auto crashes in a year. The correct number is similar to gun deaths a year. It was 32,675 in 2014.

I wished people in Wisconsin could see your post, particularly Appleton Wisconsin, one of the drunkest cities in the state.

When a Wisconsin driver is arrested for DUI, DWI or has an accident where it was found the driver was at fault for drinking and driving, the authorities should find out which alcohol the driver consumed to get so blitzed, so that victims could sue the brewery or alcohol maker for wrongful death or injury, along with the driver. There are probably more alcohol motor vehicle deaths and injury than there are from drug use, yet, the USA is still affixed to combatting drugs, the war on drugs-if you will, how about a war on alcohol abuse?

Millions of people die and many more are injured. They spend billions of dollars on fuel economy and crash survivability but not a penny on mandating crash avoidance systems which would be a no brainer. Almost criminal in negligence.
