Trump started his note with condolences and injected that it was caused by Obama. If I was Obama I would sue the hell out of this guy for lies and slander. I've not seen any objection or disbelief from any of the GOP criminals around him.

To write this note over the heads of the poor dead kids who suffered an horrible death and use it only for political purposes is far below the belt and shows the real character of the person which this country selected to be president.

This country should be ashamed of this guy and do something about it NOW.

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley blamed Assad, but also Russia. From the BBC:

The US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, said Syrian chemical attacks would continue if nothing was done.

"Time and time again Russia uses the same false narrative to deflect attention from their ally in Damascus," she said.

"How many more children have to die before Russia cares?" she asked.

With statements like that, will Nikki Haley survive being the UN Ambassador. Yes Trump fingered Obama...maybe she didn't get that message.

Trump was talking with the Jordanian King and said his idea about Assad has changed. As well scolded Iran. He does not understand the middle east or anything about it; neither do these stupid reporters. I guess he forgets that the most Palestinians live in Jordan, but supports the Israel land grabbing. He only blames Obama related to everything happening there. He has no clue whatsoever.

We should employ a skilled sniper and his team to put a bullet in Assad's head. That would make Trumps boss unhappy but who cares. Men who kill civilians with chemical weapons should face a dire final chapter as well.

I made a comment some time ago that lasers should be employed for surgical extermination of certain extreme characters.

Donald will blame President Obama for anything, but he will soon learn that Truman's prophetic words continue on to today - the buck stops with him.

One of my biggest pet-peeves about some men, in general, is when they whine. "Whining" is akin to fingernails on the chalkboard when I hear it from any adult man. And by that I mean such men rarely stand up and take responsibility nor take action with complex problems. They whine that its someone else fault. Typical whine: "I can't get anything done because its someone else fault, so don't blame me"

True leaders don't point fingers at others, they take charge, take responsibility, take action. What good CEO (or leader) do you know whines about previous CEOs?

Trump Truism: Trump always blames others (aka Obama) in statements when he plans to do very little that amounts to nothing.

Will Trump actually do anything significant? If so what will he actually do?

It has been talked about before, Trump needs a war to bring up his numbers. Is this the war he needs, or would it be just another Iraq war that entrenches the US into a war that can not be solved through brute force and without any allies?

Considering who are his advisers (without any world experience) things could get out of hand quickly. He's got a lot of things on his plate; thus lots of things can go wrong with this idiot on the helm.

“Of course the people don’t want war. But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.” — Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

    It works...

Yes, it does, Schmidt. Three fronts in the greater Middle East, what could possibly go wrong?

Yes Schmidt; like I said it is 1936 all over again; all we need in an "crash" in the market and we can follow "history".

Must say nice picture for 1945; without digital camera's.

I'm an bit surprised that Assad stays protected. During our attack on Iraq we used cruise missiles to destroy Hussein's place; so we've got the "experience" thus just launch one with the right coordinates; gone Assad.

Dutch, That would be a wise move. Killer of innocent women and children eliminated. I have to believe that 98% of the world would be in favor. Then Vladimir can send in 30 thousand troops to clean up his newest annexation. Luckily the ethnic cleansing is mostly taken care of.
