The current cast of characters could have been selected by reality TV casting directors. The goal in reality TV casting is to find people who clearly significant personality flaws that make them very dysfunctional, but each individual is completely blind to why their life is spinning out of control. Then, put them all together and see what happens when a bunch of dysfunctional people attempt to do normal things that most people can handle easily.
