Voter Eligible population (VEP): 230,586,000 (over 18, excludes felons, illegals)
Votes cast for highest office in 2016: 136,701,000 (59.3 % of VEP)
Breakdown of VEP:
Non-voters 93,885,000 (40.7 %)
Hillary Clinton: 65,845,000 (28.6%)
Donald Trump: 62,980,000 (27.3 %)
Others: 7,876,000 (3.4 %)
So Donald Trump received only 27.3 % of the voter eligible population. That does not support the idea that Trump speaks for all Americans.
