Try to separate your opinion of Donald Trump from his family, and state what you think about them as individuals.

Are they independent thinkers or do they simply do as they are told?

Do they reflect the same\similar dirty politics as Trump?

As Adults, can they see Trump for who he really is, and know he's not going to change at age 70, thus neither challenge him on BS, nor support the BS. In otherwords, he is "Crazy Dad" who they love\support, but they draw the line on important private\personal issues because they know he will run over them if they don't push back on the important stuff.

    Don't especially care.

If they do not engage in corruption then they can do what they wish.

If they, like all capital, seek to distort democracy then that is something else.

"he's not going to change at age 70,"

Why in the world would he change. He feels he is divinely inspired. Even with killing poor people by cutting programs, aid and entitlements he has biblical inspiration.

"Matthew 26:11 - The poor you will always have with you, - Bible

The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me."

The all knowing all seeing is saying to not waste your time on the poor. That's enough validation for any billionaire.

He is not crazy to any billionaire family member. He and they are chosen.

I think his daughter is the brightest bulb of the bunch. She seems to be the only one who has any control or understanding of him and how mentally ill he is. The sons & son in law are just Trumpy lites. No more morals or values than he has. Ivanka knows where the money comes from and does what she has to do to keep it.

All in all - a sick bunch of puppies the country and world would be better off without. Unfortunately one can say the same thing about most wealthy and powerful people.

Who really cares? This whole family is an bunch of spoiled little children; Daddy is absolutely "nuts" so that "rub's off".

But yeah it is like with the Romanov's, if they continue on this path the US may experience the same as what happened in Russia. It seldom did happen in history that filthy rich "authorian" leaders stayed very long in power.

The term "affluenza" has been applied to "rich kids" growing up in wealth and not having the life experiences to be able to empathize with those without financial privilege. I think the Trump kids suffer from affluenza. All they have known growing up is their father's authoritarian bullying of others to make money...and how to lie and cheat. Some role model. Like father, like sons...and daughter. And now son-in-law Jared Kushner is also a product of wealth and what money can buy. Kushner was admitted to Harvard after his father made a $2.5 million donation to the university. They all know the power of money...money buys power...power buys more money. Money, money, money in making deals is all they know.

Yes Schmidt; you can't run an country on "money" alone. Money "corrupts"; just "pay off" your lies; or ask the "church" to forgive you; then still you can't take your "money" with you into your "grave".

A great ending to this nightmare would be that she, and\or other family members were to publicly admit that he suffers from mental illnesses. Sadly, its unlikely to happen. I think the best we could hope for would be they talk him into resigning. It might take a really scary event for them to intervene, such as he's get really ticked off at china (or whomever), and suddenly the world watches, without any notices\warning, that the US is at DEFCON One waiting for Trump to give the go ahead to launch a few dozen warheads on china. The president does not need permission from anyone to launch nuclear warheads; all he needs to do is make a phone call, and its done. With Trump, its like giving a loaded weapon to 3 year old in the middle of a temper tantrum.

What makes you think he's mentally ill? We just have never had the inside look at a billionaire before. Somebody else mentioned he's a typical.billionaire. has he spent every weekend in Mar Lago?

Sure all these things, if you add it up from the start of the "primaries, until now should be enough evidence to get rid of this total "mental" case. But yeah America keeps on sleeping and accepts all the lies, twists and turns. What kind of country is this? Bannon will make sure his "destruction" will become reality. We just keep accepting all of his. We are now the laughing stock of the world; who will trust us ever again?

Mayo Clinic: "Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultra confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism."

I would add that term to the mix of terms to describe Trump. He fits many of the symptoms.

The topic is Trump's children. However, there is a possible genetic factor that can be ascribed to all of them. From the Mayo Clinic website on causes of narcissistic personality disorder.

Mayo Clinic: Causes of narcissistic personality disorder

"It's not known what causes narcissistic personality disorder. As with other mental disorders, the cause is likely complex. Narcissistic personality disorder may be linked to:

Mismatches in parent-child relationships with either excessive pampering or excessive criticism

Genetics or psychobiology — the connection between the brain and behavior and thinking"

Like grandfather...like father...like sons and daughter.

Going further off topic, Steve Jobs (Apple CEO), exhibited similar traits to Trump, and was extremely successful as Apple's CEO going all the back to early 80s. I only bring up his name because Jobs mistakenly believed so much in himself, that he believed he could beat cancer without help (See his authorized Bio) and even the closest people to him could not talk him into seeking medical help. When he finally realized he could not beat cancer on his own, it was too late. This is the danger Trump presents to country in terms of his mental fitness to be president, he is not a person spend much time evaluating the risks because his does not believe it possible for him to fail. He'll push forward on anything no matter how risky it is to the country, until its too late to prevent a major disaster that many\most could see coming. Maybe Trump will decide to play a game of chicken with China (or whomever\whatever), to see if he can bully them into doing what he wants, only to find out they won't back down and are willing to raise the stakes even higher.

Talking about the "family": Kushner (his son in law) is likely to gain $4oo million from an real estate deal in NY with an Chinese company. Of course the Kushner group says that there will be no concern about "conflict of interest"

However there are other "deals" out there where Trump made millions while in "office"; for instance an FL house deal with an Russian fertilizer company "billionaire" . Also Trump promised not to take an "salary"; but says now on the end of the year he will donate the $400,000 to "charity", which will give him an"tax" deductable gain of over $150,000. Of course the question remains: Does he pay any taxes at all? Does he indeed donate it to charity; or his "own charity". ( just like the donation to the VA which they never received) Where are his tax returns? All forgotten by now???

Stupid America, you are been taken for an "ride"; where are the brains in this country?
