Yes again we can thank ourselves; this happening is pure "cause and effect" about which I wrote quite a few times. The shooter was ex-military was also stationed in Iraq and other places, came back "nuts" (without being "vetted/tested/mentally screened" like as with Trump) as so many and placed back into society; thanks to our war mongers here who sent those kids into places where bodies are blown to pieces and can't handle it. Thus the message is please hang onto the Second Amendment and give every military brain damaged soldier a gun with with at least 5 clips when they end their enlistment. Of course you don't need to screen ex-soldiers etc. if they are lunatics when they buy an gun because they are army thus sound of mind or joined the police force without being tested for being "nuts". That is how it works in this country. Go to the army doctor, ask a few pills and you are super OK.

I again think I'm in an real la la land led by lunatics.

The guy was led into the courtroom; he may get the death penalty. I'm an bit amazed about an country who has no shame.

Sorry the guy is not at fault; it is the system here. Our wars caused that, as well our fantastic gun laws and our mental screening of the soldiers who made it back from our useless wars. Thus again be proud of this country and wave your flag.

I didn't see any television today. He seems American which probably upsets R's. If he was Muslim and/or Middle eastern all would be great. His name sounded Hispanic so there's that. Divide and conquer. Not sure what his objective was. He flew into Fort Lauderdale. Tonight in Tampa is college football championship where he could have easily had many more vulnerable targets- thousands at pregame festivities. No ticket would have been necessary. At least he's in custody.

Tony the point is; this country made him do this!!! Being used as "cannon fodder" and seeing your buddy's blown to bits did this. He did not start that war; Bush did. Blame the "system" here; there are many kids like him running around without any mental health screening or proper help.!!!

Today it was reported that 2 Florida politicians have recommended that more guns should be allowed in/at airports. Sadly, those recommending did so before the Fort Lauderdale shooting. The solution to any and all problems ? More guns.

There were over a million men and women serving in the military during the Viet Nam including my self, very few of them turned into murderous killers, on the contrary some came home to become Doctors , Lawyers, Congressman and other political positions in both major parties, most came home , got a job, married, raised children, sent them off to college and are now retired, just like the millions who never served, get a grip Dutch, lose the bias.

You sound like Trump; throw it over on an different 180 degree way. Sorry this is the effect of our "wrong" wars including Vietnam; how many of your buddies were killed for nothing there?? You are "lucky" that you did not inhale "agent orange" may be you did and can't think anymore. Wake up J.C. accept reality "cause and effect". The people you mentioned were lucky, others were not so lucky and shoot up airports now because of our stupid wars.etc.

Dutch: Kirsten Powers who is a columnist for USA,and was also a contributing panelist on FOX has described a subset of Liberalism as a Illiberal's, these are are liberals who want no part of fair debate and are taking an ax to free speech, they act in direct contradiction to the fundamental liberal values of free speech, also they have mastered the art of social media by coining such terms as Mansplaining, Trigger Warnings, microaggressions, you can fill in for yourself which privilege they are fond of naming, and they have found more phobias in Conservatives discourse than what is locked in Freud's little closet of horrors, I am afraid it seems that you are falling into this "subset", with your unabashed bias of anyone who disagrees with you.
