Chet Ruminski Wrote: CNN)President-elect Donald Trump is putting the finishing touches on an Obamacare replacement plan that aims to provide "insurance for everybody," he told The Washington Post.

Also, he will demand that drug companies negotiate directly with Medicare and Medicaid and lower their prices, saying they will no longer be "politically protected."

Trump did not reveal any details of how he'd accomplish this daunting task, noting that he is waiting for his health secretary nominee, Tom Price, to be confirmed. Price is appearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee on Wednesday, but his hearing before the crucial Senate Finance Committee has yet to be scheduled.

Chet; don't you think la la land is an appropiate name for it. Over an month or so 20 million people will have no insurance at all except some "promises". Congratulations America.

Dutch, It would be hard to find one single statement he has made that he hasn't contradicted himself. You can't cut health insurance costs without killing people.

The right wing hate machine has been grinding on and on for some 30 years. Never resting. Two corporations on all media. Americans made being poisoned by GMO foods as policy. The education corporations have set an agenda in our schools. The evangelical cult has grown into a monster that lives next door. There is a monster on Mabel street , it looks like a church . It's not a church. It's a cult. There are sportsmen's clubs allmpart america and they are also NRA clubs quasi alt right havens for men who unite In a common ideology. They are the new KKK , armed and all brainwashed by the fox news right wing hate machine. It's all very sad. And it's all been done by the hate machine that never rests. When the court rules in favor of justice , the people thinking's over. But the right wing hate machine never rests. It never sleeps.

And they have won . And all the hate is out in the open. The absurdity of the alt right has to show itself to the world . The ideology of hate is on display. The lead purveyor an idiot who behaves like a child. A creepy beady eyes goon who follows the fat idiot around and the most incompetent bunch of syncopants he can dig up. And these morons are taking orders directly from the Kremlin.

This is not going to end well for anyone.

Yes, an good story; may be there is still an sliver of hope that the guy gets impeached or dies from an heart attack or even better suicide because he did not get it his way. But I fear the "butt" crawlers and "hypocrites" will follow him until the bitter end. Yes the "Titanic" is steering head on towards the iceberg, without anyone on the helm.

If I look at the "purpose",then if I look at the total nonsense of all of this, it becomes clear that one of the objective is to get the "so called" deficit down by at least $500 billion. Thus over the "dead" bodies of the healthcare needing patients.

But sure we don't cut the "Defence" budget, but increase it, nor the "wall", nor Trumps travels to FL. But yeah there is plenty of money to cut taxes for the "rich" as well they get an additional "bonus" from the GOP healthcare "system.

And don't forget his one trillion "infra structure" plan, which is underestimated by at least another "trillion" Also they should not forget the cost of "deporting" people and more "border guards" etc.

Yes my guess is the "operating" budget of this government will explode and the "deficit" will only grow.

Apparently those Republicans in the U.S. Congress don't have a clue as to what affordable means; inexpensive and reasonably priced.

This loony Republican Health Care Plan will cut over ten years 880 billion from Medicaid and give 883 billion in tax cuts for the rich or in other words take from the poor and give to the rich.

The result of this incredibly cruel, demented Health Care Plan is the 24 million Americans will lose their health care and all those who drafted this Health Care Plan and all those who are promoting it and will vote for it have earned the right to be defeated in the next election since very few voters would want to waste their vote on a sociopathic, soulless, corrupt degenerate.

Exactly take from those with nearly nothing to give more to those who don't need it or deserve it. Crazy times we are living in.

Connie and T.J. my feelings exactly. I'm so amazed here, where all these loonies come from who "cook" up all this shit. Lately when I see those "holy church GOP" people then I have to barf. Kind of strange that those types are the worst hypocrites of all.

When I see an "face" on TV, I can tell just by the hairdo and facial expression that they are either GOP hypocrite church types or Democrats. Especial this Price guy is an really GOP hypocrite church type, looks like a "preacher"

The House is set to vote on their repeal bill sometime today and it's anyone's guess if they have enough votes to ram it through. No Democrats have come out to say they will vote for the bill and currently 33 Republicans have expressed grave concerns or flat out said they will be voting "no." That is more than enough to sink the bill before it even has a chance to go to the Senate.

If Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, doesn't feel he has enough votes to pass the bill then I have a feeling that Speaker Ryan will pull it instead of having to suffer the embarrassment of watching his bill go down in flames due to his caucus.

It should be an interesting day.

Update: Speaker Ryan cancelled the vote and didn't disclose when another one will be.

Update: Speaker Ryan cancelled the vote and didn't disclose when another one will be.

My thoughts are that if Republicans find themselves gridlocked on the healthcare details, they will simply reduce the bill to nothing more to repealing ACA like: "Obamacare completely ends in 2 years". This allows them to claim they repealed Obamacare, and give them 2 years to figure out a comprehensive replacement.

The risk is midterm elections, democrats regain enough seats to force republicans not only to compromise within their own party but also compromise with democrats.

I heard it may not pass. Much pressure from voters and in reverse from the WH. I hope very much that it fails because costs, coverage, and most details should be negotiated. Why believe there might be a better package if nobody has the guts to ask for more or better coverage. Patience is a virtue.

Why would anyone not negotiate. Insurance companies suggest prices with premium profits. We need to think of citizens interests as well.
