    Merry X-Mas!!!

All you guys and girl/ladies have an great holiday enjoy your day either in snow or an balmy 86 degrees in southern FL.

Anyway also an happy New Year to all of you. My hope for the New Year is obvious, if you guys did read all my threads.

Thus hang in there, don't dispair, once the "nuthead" gets into the White House, I guarantee that he won't last long, but you never know, since plenty of the uneducated are still in love with this bully as well he may create other wars to get the attention of the reality at "home". Thus enjoy our time off; I'll be fixing the dryer it failed as my X-Mas present. Hallejuja. Praise the dryer ghost.

Fixing a Florida dryer is better than fixing Ohio fuel oil that turned to jelly because it got so cold! Winter 76/77

    Merry Christmas

Merry (insert holiday here:__________) to all. I hope all have simple moments where appreciation and comfort are a back drop to the festivities. Don't forget, the best things can't be wrapped or purchased. Safety and good health is wished to all as well.

Yes Dutch, We may be cynical and unsure but we can retain hope as well. Light a candle.

Thanks Tony and Chet; Lighting an "electric" candle sounds safer; because if I have to drink all the "election" disasters away to start an New Year; if I would use an normal candle, then likely the house burns down because I'll be sound asleep. But as an positive note at least then I don't have to fix the dryer!! Happy New Year!!!!!

Merry Christmas Dutch, Tony, Chet, Jared, Arizona, and Carlitos as well as all the other folks who write in their views and rants. As much as I want to put all the Trump mania aside for a while, it looks like it is not going to happen. He is good for ratings and will probably be the number 1 topic of discussion in this website for 2017...that and derivatives. Ha.

My hope is that Barack Obama the private citizen and Hillary Clinton the private citizen will remain active in creating more public awareness of the critical issues of the day. We can cite a lot of reasons why Hillary lost, but I would put ignorance of our government and democracy near the top.

As a party hopefully we can acknowledge that there's a long way to go, many stages to be reached. Who will identify our path and objectives and push us as a party to be productive ? I must admit my dissatisfaction with '16 results and my being anxious to say we need progress now.
