I was thinking that 2000 years ago Jesus was a Dutch transplant. Perhaps when it became fashionable to put him into paintings, it was determined that he shouldn't look like others from his geographical neighborhood. The Christmas Jesus guy looks like he's from Northern Europe or perhaps Canada. Obviously this is not a pressing issue but things that are pressing issues get about 10% of the coverage they should. Obviously there was no fact checking but seriously, why do you suppose he was white ? To satisfy those buying paintings and later Bibles with images ?

TJ - god is white (I know so because all the photos of him are white and angels are also white) so why wouldn't his only begotten son be white? I mean really think about it - would god want his son to be, well you know.

Tony, Wow an DUTCH transplant????? I feel flattered for sure, may be it was me in my previous life!!! Sorry I'm an bit of everything, but Dutch and a white skin if I'm not on the beach; my ancesters came from Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. However I never wore an shalaba and Jesus sandals. Just dirty shorts and underwear and look more like Steve Jobs, but not as clever.

The link I found was interesting but very lengthy. If members have any interest is seems informative. They didn't just whiten Jesus but all Palestinians and subsequent Israeli folks as well. Luckily all biblical images were made great (white) again also.

While we're in the White lane...... I guess logic would suggest that it's just natural that the more modern Christmas commercial addition of Santa Claus and his entourage seem like they too are more Caucasian and not at all Eskimo like. Luckily that just makes sense.

Tony, X-Mas has purely become an commercial, pagan festivity, the (white) Catholic church found it an good opertunity to throw in an "baby" at the same time. The Jews already had an festivity; thus did not need the pagan one. Yeah then the Santa thing; sure the guy is "white" drinks an lot of beer; result an "beer belly" came from the North Pole but does not look like an Eskimo; thus must have come from Ohio (once it snows there it looks like the North Pole; as desolate) this guy is the most useless ass there is, has no real job , except with X-Mas; must be on social security; thus an Trump voter from Ohio.

So I suggest don't let him near your house; he is the one who steals your UPS packages as well X-Mas.

All you guys who still write on this "loosing party" site; next time vote for someone without baggage, but have an great "holiday" without all the Trump junk; I'm not an believer, so the word "Merry" does not quit fit, it is more for an female horse I think.
