What is happening here??? I guess everyone is way too busy with cooking an turkey and decorating the house, the pagan way as well having "plastic" baby's in the front yard and UPS packages on the porch ready for the take. But yeah in the meantime the country is stolen from under us by an "mental" patient who makes fun of other mental patients. But that does not seems to be important.
So poor people this is the last chance to fill your tummy's; next year you will be served "coal dust" but at least with your minimum wage of $8,50 earnings you can pay the doctors fees for your wasted lungs.
Thus I'm glad, I'm not too busy with decorations, otherwise I will fall from my ladder anyway.
So "writers" where are you? fallen asleep under the tree? and only wake up when the house is burned down??
It's sometimes hard to keep your focus when we still seem to be in campaign mode. Trump is on his self-aggrandizing tour that he has enjoyed so much, he's promised more after he is elected. Liberals are off in left field with a campaign to make the Electoral College change their votes (won't happen). Trump's children are putting together his cabinet while he's on tour. It's the most conservative cabinet and set of advisors in history. They are all at the top of the "cringe list" of people who give you the shivers. Congress is on vacation, but Republicans in their Pavlovian style are complaining about the cost to taxpayers of Obama taking a vacation in Hawaii.
So on this Sunday morning, I have a more important task than listening to the Sunday Morning talk shows (Joy Reid being the exception...she's good). I have to update my fantasy football team in the fantasy playoffs. So I will live in my own fantasy world for a while longer while everyone else lives in theirs.
I've gotten so I refuse to watch the Sunday Morning talk shows with their line-up of Republicans who all use the same talking points. I do, however, turn the TV on to watch Joy Reid. I notice that the media covered Trump's victory tour in the same way they covered all his campaign rallies before the election. I guess they are still good for ratings.
The ignorance of some of the TV pundits is astounding. They often repeat a Trump talking point like it is a fact. I know they say they are going to "call him out" more on the lies spouted by him and his staff (KellyAnn Conway is the worst) but it just doesn't seem to happen. That's because the pundits themselves are ignorant...or don't want to rock the boat lest they lose their seat at the trough...er table.
Schmidt Wrote: So the big question that I struggle with this morning is whether I should play Cam Newton or Marcus Mariota as my QB on my fantasy team. The stakes are high. Ha.
Schmidt look at the facts. Opponent, weather, QB's teams injury reports.
But less than seriously. Humor mixed with facts was Saturday Night Live with Trump, Putin and Sec. Of State. Laugh, cry, enjoy.

But they do remind that there is still resentment, conflict and opposition from establishment republicans to a lot of Trumps ideas and potential policies. But they will still be onboard to reduce American labor to third world pay scales. Remember Trump's first promise to make American wages competitive. A dire warning of who Trump really is.
Wow, that SNL sketch was one of the best. Everyone should click on TJ's link and enjoy. I'm sure this one will really get under Trump's skin as Baldwin depicts him as the Putin lapdog and baffoon. The "Tillerson guy" was great.
Can we expect a few Trump tweets in response?
Looking for this cat in the progressive liberal group.
More SNL humor on tomorrows electoral college vote.

That was by far the best Trump SNL skit yet and I am shocked that Trump hasn't responded yet. I wonder if someone in his circle convinced him that it would be better to Tweet made up words like "unpresidented" and try to insert himself into international conflicts before he assumes office in January.
I surely hope SNL finds a way to keep Baldwin around for four years because no one else comes close to impersonating Donald the way he does.
