There is a passive aggressive disdain for the lower classes that is a direct reflection of the conservative right that preaches everybody is responsible for their own future. The Democratic reaction to robotising and exporting of jobs has been a shrugging of the shoulders saying that is progress. There is total denial that there is enough money and resources to provide everybody on earth a good life. Once again a passive aggressive shrugging of the shoulders blaming sovereignty for the genocide, abuse, slavery and punishment of the poor. While at the same time sovereignty had been pushed aside for the exploitation of oil fields and labor. The same passive aggressive attitude blames the poor for not standing up and improving their own lives. I warned from the very beginning about the resonant message from a charismatic Trump while at the same time pointing out what Hillary needed to do to connect and identify with hurting people. And almost all the time with criticism, ridicule and warnings. Even predicted and "explained" the impending Trump victory two weeks before the election and of course it was responded to with negativity. Well, to continually deny everything I have written does not bode well for the poor or the Democratic party. Blaming Trump's artificial victory on the electoral college is total denial because Trump should have been beaten 75 to 25. If the Democratic Party doesn't develop a sense of responsibility to and for the plight of the poor then elections will continue to be won by bold face lies. Almost all businesses and working people suffer because of the denial of the misuse of money. Money needs to be spent to be useful.

Careful, there's a lump in your throat. Wait that's Trump and his immeasurable charisma.

Lol, amusing but revealing. And you wonder why the activity is low? Try and logically dispell something I have written.

Western society has a tendency to adhere to the just-world hypothesis. "You reap what you sew", "what goes around comes around", etc.

People apply it as an explanation for why the poor suffer misfortune.

If you go to East Asia, you'll find that people don't tend to blame others for anything but what was intended to happen.

The differences between the East and the West on this topic could be chalked up to neuro-linguistics. The English language programs its speakers to victim blame.
