Every time a politician says the word gun the gun sales soar. Selling more guns than ever but fewer people own guns than ever:

The percent of American households owning guns is at a near-40 year low in the latest CBS News poll released this month.

Gun ownership in the US is at a 40-year low, but gun purchases are at an all-time high.

Gun Sales Set Records in September

Record setting streak continues for 17th month

    freebeacon.com/issues/gun-sales-set-rec... sales are setting records.

Seems the best gun control would be to quit talking about them in public. Keep plans quiet until it is deemed time to introduce a law.

Trump wants to remove "gun free zones" thus bring your gun to church and and the kid's football game. What a country; it is going downhill fast.

Gun stocks have actually plummeted roughly 20 percent since Trump's election.

The thing about gun nuts is that they are convinced that Democrats want to take guns away from them. The best form of gun control, it seems, is to elect a racist misogynist as our President.

Cant figure out the reasoning behind the "gun scare". Every time one happens and I mean every time gun sales skyrocket. Every time we have a hurricane scare generator sales skyrocket. Now generators are so plentiful it might be hard to sell one right after all the power lines are knocked down. So why did gun sales increase throughout the Obama period and super increase at the end? And why are they dropping off? Surly every person that even looked at a gun could have one now. And even if the sales are multiple guns to one owner what is the reasoning to keep on buying so many guns. And this has been going on since 1995. I like any kind of functional tool but I don't own 20 impact hammers. There must be an unexplained attraction that guns have thast over powers senses. There are probably 400,000,000 million accountable guns, probabky another 100,000,000 million from prior accounting, another 100,000 000 million and maybe more rifles and revolvers not covered at all under the definition for accountable guns, probably another 100,000,000 million homemade guns, millions of powder loaded guns and who knows how many illegally entered or prior to accounting entered guns. I wonder if there has been a study to find out what attraction guns have. There are too many guns and it is too big of a problem to discount the attraction to "gun nuts". As I have said before it is a mistake to disregard the situation as to be gun nuts.

They are soaring this time because liberals are buying them.

It is true gun purchases rose in the months leading up to last weeks election, but there are no numbers - zero, nada, zilch - out that show gun sales rose after the election. Gun sales numbers aren't released on a daily basis, so we honestly don't know if sales went up or down after Tuesday.

What we do know is that the stock prices for all major gun companies have plummeted since Trump's election.

Well, since their lie that obama was "gonna take their guns away" proved nonsense the analysts simply kicked the gun companies in the balls. For once the stock market was good for something.

After the anger being displayed by many people against who they perceived to be either a Trump supporter or a believer in his agenda are being intimidated or in some cases beaten are fearful for their personal safety, hence the gun sales. IMO.
