I am trying to understand how the election could swing so much in Trump's favor in the last week, and all I can see is the FBI Director James Comey's letter to Congress that he was again investigating Hillary Clinton's e-mails. That was probably the last straw for many riding the fence. Even though there was nothing new revealed in the e-mails, the timing of the whole charade smacks of James Comey vindictiveness towards the Clintons. Maybe I'm wrong, but as I have been reading about exit poll interviews, the Clinton e-mails seem to be a deciding factor.

That and of course the corporate media who profited by sensationalizing every trivial thing that the Clintons had done over 30 years. I don't know how the Bernie or Bust people affected the outcome. I guess there will be some post election analysis of that as well.

Anyway, America gets the government they elected. Maybe they voted 80 percent on their emotions as per Frank Luntz theory, but for us to elect a buffoon as president and a supporting Senate and House, doesn't bode well for our future. Are we slowly becoming a hateful fascist state?

America will miss the Obama presidency and rue the day they voted for hate.

It didn't happen in the last week. It has been there all along. The election offered a place to tell the world how they felt in secrecy. B@ radley effect in two ways. Regardless of private feelings people would feel obligated to tell polsters they were voting for Clinton. Conversely people regardless of private feelings would be embarrassed to tell polsters they were voting for Trump.

Perhaps. But when Trump enacts all the things he said he would do, will they also disclaim him in secrecy? Donald Trump the billionaire conman will have to con the 56 million plus people who voted for him for the next four years telling them it was all Obama's fault.

He has many promises that he has to deliver on like building a wall that the Mexicans will pay for, barring Muslims from entering the USA, deporting some 11 million undocumented residents, scuttling the Climate Change Paris Accord and bringing back Big Coal, abolishing Roe v Wade, abolishing the IRA, Department of Energy and Department of Education, downsizing the EPA and reversing all their regulations, scuttling all trade agreements and implementing tariffs on many imported goods, getting rid of ObamaCare which will put some 20 million Americans without healthcare, crushing ISIS with our expanded military, scrapping the Iran Nuclear Agreement (despite monies already paid to Iran), being the best friend forever to Israel, and finally cozying up to Putin and the Russian oligarchs who invested heavily in his presidency.

But also investigating Hillary Clinton and indicting her..."lock her up" with orange pants suits.

And he will never have to show his tax returns or financial dealings. The Trump enterprise will continue to be run by his children so he doesn't have to disclose anything there...it will be like a blind trust.

What did I leave out? Oh appointing Scalia look-a-likes to the Supreme Court...not only Scalia replacement but likely also Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

This is what America voted for. America has spoken. The post election analysis of the voting demographics will tell the details. I won't go there now...not yet.

One of the very first things he said tells the whole story of what he is about. He said he would keep American wages low. He started lying with that first announcement because then he started lying saying he would make good paying jobs. He said he would bring jobs back and force companies to stay here. Never once did he say he would put money to work and make prosperity a worldwide benefit. He is no different than any other profit above country oppirtunist. This is not the end of the world but the challenge to end personal selfselfishness in favor of world peace and prosperity.

Yes Schmidt; the point is also: How will the world look at this? The US will no longer be an reliable partner. But anyway my vision is that this country will go down the drain and become an banana republic. Just wait over an year or so these idiots here will complain and start crying; you want to bet?
