Last night I watched a television show that has been advertised very much. Designated survivor. I never knew but the show began with Keifer Sutherland watching the presidential address but not at the event. He plays the secretary of HUD and was designated the designated survivor. A massive bomb kills the president, VP, and the cabinet. As designated survivor he's sworn in as the new president. The premise was unsettling. The politics start to ripple immediately. I hope others have seen it (or it will be canceled) and share their opinions on the show and the way it's being put out there.
