We've discussed the Clinton foundation. Many comments were surprising but not totally a surprise. Donald Trump has a foundation as well. From what I've read, he often takes in money and has big parties. The helping people part..... that's funny, you're wealthy because you don't give anything away. He's on the record for an illegal political donation to Pam Bondi (Florida AG who decided not to follow up on Trump University) and today it's being reported that he spent big money paying legal fees because he's involved in more law suits than any 100 persons usually would be. $258,000.00 that donors thought was going to help someone who wasn't a billionaire.

The term "Slush Fund" is being used.

I can't help but be very frustrated with the way the media is handling these two different foundations. It seems like there is a huge double standard.

The supposedly liberal media seems to be giving Trump a free pass on this (and countless other things.) Can you imagine how it would be reported if it came out that the Clinton's conducted their foundation in the same way Trump conducts his? She would be hung out to dry in a heartbeat.

Actually Trump spokesperson, Jason Miller, just denies the story saying the WP got their facts wrong, and quickly shifts the topic to the Clinton Foundation.

Washington Post: Donald Trump’s absolutely ridiculous response to The Post’s Trump Foundation story

This is what we should expect from Trump in the debate...if he can keep his "own facts" straight without a teleprompter.

I find it astounding how Trump just gets to make up his own facts and the media never challenges him on it. It's like they have created this beast and now they don't know what to do with it.

The media has set the bar so low for Trump that they will probably declare him the winner if he just shows up to the debate stage.
