I'm looking at amazement at the TV which is totally absorbed by the "garbage container bomber".

The total coverage of this is "typical"; No one asks why he would do so. Yes I have the answer (wow)

Guess what he's an refugee from Afghanistan; started an small "food shop" in Jersey, They "pestered" him because he was an Muslim as well the US ruined his country.

I'm totally flabbergasted that no one in this country understands what we are doing with all our invasions all over.

Indeed people will hate us for that, including all the killing we've done in those invaded countries; the latest is our bombing of about 90 Syrian soldiers in another sovereign country.

Is anyone on the site surprised that people from those countries are seeking revenge for the killing we do daily over there and everywhere. But yeah keep playing the holy ignorant nation, that will help.

Think again about 9/11; may be not again, because we spent billions to protect ourselves, but the world will hate us regardless; eventually this will lead to an even worse situation. Especially if we elect Trump

I will quit this site per today; sorry for the people who think further than "flags" Bye.

Your post doesn't really make sense.

Why are you blaming America for someone bombing a bunch of innocent civilians who were just going about their day? Your hatred of this country seems to know no bounds.

You're quitting the site because some people disagree with you? How is that any different than Tea Party Republicans who live by the "my way or the highway" agenda? There are nearly 320 million people in this country. Not everyone is going to agree with you all the time.

I think it's also important to know that he came to the United States in 1995. He was seven years old then. He didn't move here post 9/11; he and his family emigrated here because they were fleeing the Taliban and Al-Qaeda and the United States took them in.

You can hate this country all you want, but we are the only, and I mean ONLY, country that welcomes people in from war zones throughout the world.

Where was Europe during the Taliban rule throughout the 80's and 90's? We all know the answer, but you will never admit it.

We have shootings and mass shootings on regular basis in America. Many of them are done in in a moment of intense anger (spouses shooting each other), but others may be a result of a festering anger with one's boss or work colleagues, for example, at his/her place of work. Getting fired from a job is a commonly cited reason for taking one's anger out on someone to blame.

While most of these acts are perpetrated by non-Muslims, it is acts by Muslims that get the headlines and are often labeled as "terrorist" simply by the fact of their religion. We have some 6 million Muslims living peacefully in the United States, adhering to our laws, respecting our customs and flag, and even fighting for our country in the military. Most of them are citizens from birth. We should not forget that.

Trump triumphantly declared this a terrorist act before any investigations were done or revealed to the media. It is this kind of targeting of Muslims as terrorists that helps feed the narrative, perhaps helping to marginalize further the young Muslims of other races and ethnicities in their respective communities. Donald Trump and his ilk share responsibility for any home grown acts of terrorism conducted by people of the Islamic faith.
