Watching Hillary come out of Chelsea's house I noticed the address next to the door 21East26th Street. Looked it up and it is a 10.5 million dollar condo. Chelsea works at the Clinton Foundation and buys a 10.5 million dollar condo doesn't look good.. Monthly payments would be around 90 thousand dollars a month. None of the articles I read about it said anything other than Chelsea buys, buying or bought. She mostly is quoted as saying that she gives most of the money that she earns to the Clinton Foundation. She is reported to have been paid $600,000 a year at NBC, and those people are not afraid to say that was for buying access to the Clinton's. There is a challenged story that she earns 900,000 dollars a year at the Clinton Foundation. Mostly say it is not true, but if it is not true wonder how she bought the 10.5 million dollar condo. Who is going to explain that without getting involved in the tangled web of deceit?

According to Celebrity Worth, Chelsea Clinton's husband, Marc Mezvinsky has a net worth of $15 million and a salary of $2 million per year as an investment banker. He is 38 years old. Add Chelsea's wealth (maybe also $15 million) and yes they can afford it. From Celebrity Net Worth:

"In 2003 Clinton started to work at the company called “McKinsey & Company”. This of course added to Chelsea Clinton’s net worth. Three years later Chelsea became a part of the global investment firm “Avenue Capital Group”. In addition to this, Chelsea is a part of IAC’s board of directors and the School of American Ballet’s board. This also makes Clinton’s net worth grow. In 2011 Chelsea received an invitation to work at NBC, and appeared in such shows as “Rock Center with Brian Williams” and “NBC Nightly News”. Despite the success she had while working at NBC, Chelsea left the network in 2014. This job had a huge impact on the growth of Chelsea Clinton’s net worth."

So have they done something illegal? What point are you making other than you seem to have animosity about people who make lots of money.

Schmidt said: "Despite the success she had while working at NBC, Chelsea left the network in 2014."

Source that she had a successful career at NBC. The only thing I could find was she was an embarrassment for the $600,000 a year she got for a part time job. Find me one glowing assessment of her performance at NBC other than yours.

It just shows an extension of poor judgement to exhibit disdain to public sensitivities . The defense serves credibility to the numerous charges of improprieties and scandals.

" In September 2015, Vanity Fair cited sources within NBC News who called Chelsea Clinton’s stint there “a disaster” and said that news of her sizeable salary for a part-time job had caused ripples in the organization:
"Her stint at NBC was a disaster, perhaps because it ran so contrary to her instincts. “Most of us were baffled [by the hire], because she never evenspoke to the press,” says an NBC veteran. “She’d walk by with the imperial stare, looking forward, and interacted not at all."

Chet -- What does this have to do with Chelsea's condo? You started the thread wondering how Chelsea can afford her $10 million condo. I answered that and now you want to make it about her job at NBC. News media hire lots of prominent people who don't work out as well as they would like. It looks like you are continuing your vendetta against all things Clinton. Maybe you should change course and read the Newsweek article this morning on the Trump organization. There are more newsworthy things affecting Americans to discuss in that article than how Chelsea performed at her job at NBC. You must like reading the supermarket tabloids.

Schmidt, You are the one that brought NBC into it with that positive description that you have not sourced. Source a positive independent description of her work at NBC. You can't and that is why the the Clintons are the focus and center of so much controversy. You say all the attacks are false and TJ sources it as hate. You are responsible for TJ's position by spinning your research. I have no problem with people period. I have a problem with people that cause negative conditions for poor people and then claim to be champions of the poor. And then there are supporters of those people that dismiss any negativity for subjective reasons. As I asked and you ignored, source an independent positive report of Chelsea's NBC job. You brought it up.

Schmidt; who cares about Chelsea? Daughters of "rich" people always benefit. The only problem in this situation is that the Clinton family "floats" somewhere in the Washington "culture" which is not understood by a lot of people.

I must say that Obama has "distanced" himself more or less from that culture; however the Clinton's still live in the time when Bill was president and such culture; you either "fit" in or you are "out"

TJ, try and substantiate your "Haters are going to hate." with some objective facts. Show one thing that I spun like Schmidt did about Chelsea's NBC job. You might change your focus unless you are a subjective hater.

Go back and look again. I linked to the source of the short paragraph which listed all of Clinton's jobs and revenue sources of which NBC was just one that you cherry picked. This is a time waster. We have more important political things to talk about than Chelsea, who left her job at NBC after Hillary announced her candidacy for president.

I'm wondering if you have a female loved one who worked in DC starting in 1995. Initials of ML ??? Otherwise, the degree of the hate you spit out is just unexplainable from someone who chooses to visit a site about Democratic politics. I very much liked having a Clinton as president. He took us to zero wars and he balanced the budget. Our international level of respect was pretty good as well. For whatever reason, in dozens of posts that you have made, you display great hatred for the Clinton family and their charitable foundation. I'm sure that your charitable foundation is better in every way. I entirely support your right to have an opinion. I just don't agree with it.

Why is this even an issue? Donald Trump only sits on gold plated chairs and has statues made of himself and you are complaining about Chelsea Clinton's home value?

News Flash - the Clinton's have money. So does Donald Trump. So do thousands of other people in this country. Do you expect her to live in a studio apartment in the South Bronx to show she is just like us regular folk?

Famous people make money by charging a lot of money to talk to rich people. It's one of the true bipartisan things in this country. Rich people and companies love spending money to have famous celebrities give a speech to their friends or workers. It's gone on for decades and it's not going to stop any time soon.

You know who has the largest speaking fee in the United States? I'll give you one guess. (Hint: It's not the Clinton's)

Again Jared; thus you find all of this "normal"? I can give you an "speech' and may be I'll make an nickel. Sorry "speeches" don't run countries; common sense "brains" should do that; which seems to be impossible in this country. We have become the laughing stock of the world with this election.

Are you suggesting there aren't rich billionaires outside of America who capitalize on people wanting to throw money at them to hear them talk?

Would you give a speech to a company if they offered you tens of thousands of dollars to do so? Or would you turn it down? We all know your answer.

I beg to differ. We may be in the tabloids that you love to read, but the fact is that America is still the most sought after country to emigrate to in the world. I know you hate facts, but the great thing about facts is that they are facts.

Again you did not read what I wrote; shaking my head again. Here is my answer: "speeches" or "prayers" don't stop wars, waste, stupid politicians, or make this an better country; proper actions and brains should do that.

In other words you approve everything "capitalistic", but deny we are the laughing stock of the world; again this has nothing to do with emigration; thus read my message again!!!! Wow Jared grow up.
