I am so looking forward to the debates because DT has been given a free pass and avoided actually answering any tough questions. On msnbc, billionaire Mark Cuban detailed how Hillary can upset and beat DT in the debates. His comments are interesting and most likely quite accurate. Check out this short video/interview.

However, as has been shown that the "moderators" can screw things up, as well who can have the biggest mouth and does not have any decency to let the other finish talking. So a lot can happen. But I'm glad Cuban thinks so.

I like Cuban's comment that Trump is "headline porn". The media and Trump supporters sre attracted to Trump like porn viewers.

He is saying essentially what I am saying in excerpts of my prior posts below :
If she would forget what handlers are telling her and just be like she was in the Benghazi hearing she would probably be ahead at this time.
She needs to take him down personally. Debates will be bonuses for him even if he wets his pants at the first question.
The undecided people are looking for reasons and excuses to vote for Trump. Those are the people that can change their mind and be swayed. Attack Trump's Charisma. Run ads with Trump responding with his rediculing animation of the handicapped reporter. Ask a question and show Trump's mocking the reporter as a response.
She needs to give him her unrattled patronizing Benghazi hearing attitude and he will huff and puff while turning red. She needs to give the undecided reasons to not vote for Trump. She has her solid support. For Hillary to try and win votes explaining her promises would be singing to the choir.

That's right Schmidt. He has charisma. Hillary needs to becareful to not challenge him but lead the undecided to discover he is not good for the country.

Chet -- I don't know what more you want from Hillary. She has been blasting Trump at events, press conferences, and interviews. Her TV ads in Colorado show Trump making fun of the handicapped journalist again and again, along with other clips of Trump being unpresidential. I assume Florida is the same.

Hillary Clinton does not have the natural charisma of President Obama. But she can still be effective in her own way. Her strength is her wonkish grasp of the issues down to the smallest detail; and also the trust, respect and support she has from prominent politicians on both sides of the aisle starting with President Obama who really admires her. She's a highly astute and accomplished political professor in that regard.

I would not try to change her persona into a more charismatic character as that will come across as phoniness. She is what she is, and I really like and appreciate her as a fellow wonk. In the final analysis, it is the hard work she puts in behind the scenes away from the media cameras that makes her effective. I have read about how she was respected by both Democrats and Republicans in the Senate, but I believe this quote from Eleni Kounalakis, United States Ambassador to Hungary, in a 2015 CNN article, Hillary Clinton revived America's reputation in world, best describes the Hillary Clinton that I have come to know. Clinton as Secretary of State logged nearly a million miles in visiting 112 nations. In Kounalakis own words:

“Wherever she went, Clinton was met as a peer by the world’s most powerful leaders. But she also got out of the capitols and inside the countryside. Along the way she regularly met with small business owners, community activists, students, home makers, and other regular citizens. Diplomatically, and without bluster or bullying, without stealing headlines or focusing on her own legacy, Hillary Clinton rebuilt the network of American relationships around the globe. This is certainly her most important legacy and fundamental to the future of American leadership in the world.”

This is the stuff that "no glamor" wonks do. I do not need a headline grabbing entertainer as president. I just need our president to do her homework day after day in the quiet of the evening in order to make well thought out rational decisions the next day and every day.

This thread is about Trump so I am a bit off topic. However, one can draw the contrast between the studious Clinton and the inattentive Trump. Trump cannot answer questions because he hasn't done his homework. He is an authoritarian bullshit artist and the media seems to thrive on bullshit.

Schmidt; you are an dreamer. Yes she may know "details" but has no clue about the "big" picture, or what other countries really think about us. She will just continue with our failed foreign policies; just an continuation of what Bush started and Obama continued. All your praise for her, will not get her into the White House, unless she changes her "pantsuit tea lady" attitude as well accepts an different view of the world on how the world views us.

Her attitude of "knowing it all" will be her downfall; B.S. and indoctrination sells in this country. She also made an big mistake by calling the Trump supporters "names" like she did today. It will make these supporters even more fanatic and people who did not make up their mind yet, to make an wrong decision. Not very smart.

They are who they are and we get what we get. "Headline porn" made me take notice as well. It's captured who he is in a phrase. That is a valuable thing that Cuban can (and hopefully will) deliver to this campaign. He see's Trump's areas of being vulnerable and I hope they visit with Mr. Cuban often because he see's a path that must be explored. Cuban has said that he's not been asked to help in debate prep. I would love for her and him to share a few dozen e mails and texts because where we are and where we should be are different in too many ways.

Dutch, I think you are firmly set in your views. I encourage you to at least stay open minded.

Schmidt. I have outlined in detail what Hillary needs to do to win. If she loses by adhering to her present campaign that is like singing the national anthem while the ship is sinking. That is not acceptable. The people who will make a difference in this election will not be won over with a resume. Giving reasons to vote for Hillary won't work. They need to have reasons to Dump Trump that they decide for themselves. They need to see him as unacceptable based on their own thinking. Not something that somebody tells them. The image of Trump mocking the handicapped reporter has to be what comes up in their mind when they think of Trump. If you want a second chance at changing history you have my permission to use my campaign ideas. Do you remember the first chance before the convention when I told you to use your party status to lead a movement to drop Hillary and make Bernie the candidate because I said Hillary was in trouble?

Not news but another video of Mark Cuban saying insulting things to/about Trump. It made me chuckle.

The multi billionaire got it wrong. All the gloves off did was again firm up Trump's support and maybe give Trump a Bump in the polls. But the big news about Cuban is like how Trump is trying to buy an election , Cuban is trying to buy a comedian reputation. His delivery was strained and his insults were low level comedy. I'll bet he boosts Trump's ratings. Mark's biggest mistake was saying he was probably twice as rich as Trump. Cuban in my opinion is hurting Hillary. He thinks like Trump, he is rich therefore he knows it all.

Hillary screwed up again; she called the Republicans who vote for Trump "names", but had to withdraw that comment the next day and apologized. Sure what she said is probably true; but it gives the other party all the ammunition they need. Kind of dumb; especially if you pretend you can run the White House. Thus in other words if you push the "nuclear" button, then an "apology" afterwards works?

Like I said, neither candidate is suited for the job, regardless of what Schmidt says.

This what Dems do. They never fight back and always back down making themselves look weak even if they are 100% correct as Hillary was was she made this pronouncement.

They just never seem to learn!
