"A decorated high ranked retired military man compared Trump to one of the greatest generals."

I googled the phrase you to search and read the above in one of the results. The comparison was made by State Rep Fred Rice. He is a West Point Graduate, served on General West Morelands Staff and was in special forces. High ranking and decorated was my mistake. I was thinking about General Patton that he compared Trump to. Link:

"Fred Rice, a New Hampshire state representative, graduated from West Point, served in the 82nd Airborne, and was an aide to General William Westmoreland’s chief of staff in Vietnam. I wondered what he made of Trump’s criticism of the parents of Captain Humayun Khan, the soldier who died in Iraq. The fury of Rice’s reply was startling. “The Khan family is not brave. They use the memory of their son to exploit something politically,” he said. “Being blown up by an I.E.D. does not make you a hero. It makes you a victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Rice compared Trump to General Patton. “He was the most politically incorrect, rude, crude, vulgar individual that we had in the U.S. military. He got fired from a couple of jobs,” he said".

Chet, and you still think this is "god's" country? Sure it is, because"ghosts" run this country; not "brains"

Dutch,As I drive around town I see signs in the median saying that the landscaping is donated by some company. See seats at bus stops saying seat furnished by some company or organization. Fireworks are furnished by some organization. Haven't seen one Clinton Foundation acknowledgement.

Chet, They supply it because they are companies and that equals feel good money but bottom line is it's advertising. Are you suggesting the Clinton Found. supply cheap landscaping and bus seats that result in advertising ? Your point may be good. Give it another try.

Tj, My point is that the Clinton Foundatio spends hundreds of millions of dollars and not one average American can tell one Clinton Foundation Accomplishment. Hillary should be at least 74% just because of good deeds in the USA. Instead the Clinton Foundation is a liability possibly a losing factor for Hillary. It's all about advertising and the Foundation must have missed that class.

Besides that it should be illegal for private citizens to negotiate with foreign governments and vice versa.

Chet, sorry that is not correct; I negotiated as an private citizen deals all over the world with "governments" or the "military" On the Clinton issue; Bill earned 18 million on their "school"; but he's not running for president, so that is no problem. Hillary however was employed by the government; yes then it becomes an problem. However milking it to death and hyping it every day does not help this country either. Sorry to say this country always jumps on details but never looks at the big picture of what needs to be done.

I was thinking it should be approved, regulated and monitored to prevent the instance of an international incident. Did you have to go through the State Department to get permission to do business with the governments.

I worked for an 'foreign" company, so I did not need permission from anyone here; sure we sometimes used an US company to represent us. Sure I dealt with Iran, the US of course did not like it, but could not do anything about it. They had our troopships and I sold them for millions in parts and support. The same with the Philipines and others. It may be different if I would sell them "arms" or "missiles".
